Holly's POV
Papa Elijah and I caught up with Elena the other day. After saving her from Aunt Rebekah. But now we're back at the mansion getting ready for the ball. Aunt Rebekah and I are having our nails done by assistants. While Kol is standing in front of a full length mirror as his suit is tailored for tonight. Uncle Finn and Papa Elijah are also standing in the room preparing for the ball. Don't know where Uncle Klaus is though, probably in his art studio.
"Rebekah? Tell me how handsome I am" Uncle Kol says.
"Ah Kol, you know I can't be compelled" she tells him sweetly. I chuckle as Uncle Finn smiles. The door opens as Uncle Klaus walks in and up to Rebekah.
"You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?!" he demands.
"Here we go" Aunt Rebekah mutters.
"Elena is fine uncle" I assure him.
"Do you want another dagger in your heart?" Uncle Klaus asks her, ignoring me. I roll my eyes and blow gently on my nails.
"Again with the dagger threats? Don't you have any other tricks?" Uncle Kol asks him.
"Oh, go back to staring at yourself" Uncle Klaus tells him. Something tells me they are about to argue. I dismiss my assistant.
"And who are you, my father?" Uncle Kol demands.
"No, Kol, but you're in my house" Uncle Klaus reminds him.
"Then perhaps we should go outside" Uncle Kol suggests as they size each other up.
"Enough! Niklaus, come" Esther orders as she appears. The men step away from each other and Uncle Klaus follows her out of the room. I still don't trust her.
"Lets go invite our dates Aunt Rebekah" I tell her.
"Use, lets get out of this house" she states.
"Don't be out long you two" Papa Elijah tells us. We nod our heads and I kiss his cheek. Before driving Rebekah and I to the grill to invite my date Matt. Hopefully he says yes. We arrive to see Elena talking to Caroline about tonight's ball.
"Careful Caroline. It's all well and good until she stabs you in the back" Aunt Rebekah states.
"Be nice Aunt Rebekah" I say as I join them.
"What are you doing here? I know your mom's rules. No hurting the locals" Elena says to Aunt Rebekah.
"Get over yourself Elena. It's not all about you" Aunt Rebekah tells her.
"See you both at the ball" I say and lead Aunt Rebekah over to Matt. "Hi Matt" I say with a gentle smile.
"Holly, I didn't know you were back in town" he says with a smile giving me a hug.
"Sorry I didn't say goodbye, it was a last minute decision" I tell him. We pull away from our hug. "But I'm going to make it up to you" I say with a smile.
"How?" he asks me curious.
"Well my family is hosting a ball tonight and I wanted to invite you" I state handing him an invitation.
"Of course I'll come, do I get a dance?" he asks me.
"Of course, see you there" I say with a smile. Then leave with Aunt Rebekak and go to the oval. Where Jeffery Lockwood Hamilton is. ( Link to Jeffery: https://lthumb.lisimg.com/138/1706138.jpg?width=280&sharpen=true )
"He's cute, thanks Holly" Aunt Rebekah says with a smile. We approach him.
"Hi Jeffery" I say.
