Holly's POV
It's the day of the masquerade ball and I'm excited. I've always enjoyed masquerade balls. I'm still living with Katherine. Today she'd given Caroline a message to give to the Salvatores. She was going after the Moonstone tonight and I'm going to help. Mrs Flowers appears with Katherine carrying shopping bags. "Where should I put these?" she asks her.
"Right there. Thank you, Mrs. Flowers. You've been such a wonderful help" Katherine tells her. I take out and red dress. I exam myself in the mirror with it.
"Oh, it's my pleasure dear. Let me know if there's anything else I can do" Mrs Flowers tells her.
"I will" Katherine assures her and she leaves. Katherine takes out a black dress and exams it. "Red is diffidently your colour" she tells me.
"I know" I tell her smiling. We both sense a presence behind us. Katherine rushes over her and pushes her against the wall.
"Oh Kat, chill" the girl says.
"Don't sneak up on two vampires" Katherine says letting her go.
"Don't attack a witch. It's good to see you girl" the girl says hugging her. So this must me the Lucy Katherine was telling me about.
"I'm glad you made it, this is Holly" Katherine introduces us. "Holly, Lucy" she says.
"Pleasure" I say.
"You called, I came and nice to meet the famous Holly" Lucy says smiling.
"Like you had a choice" Katherine tells her smirking.
"Don't get all boss lady on me. You know I love you" Lucy tells her. She picks up a black mask examining it. "Now where does one wear this?" she asks us.
"A masquerade ball" I tell her smiling.
"Tonight. You want to be my date?" Katherine asks her. She agrees and I leave to go search for accessories.
(Katherine's room) Third Persons POV
"What's with the hair?" Lucy asks as Katherine straightens her curly hair.
"I'm impersonating my dull-as-dishwater doppelgänger Elena. She has the worst taste" Katherine tells her.
"Except in man. Isn't it a risk pretending to be her in front of the entire town?" Lucy asks her.
"I've gotten quite good at it actually and everyone's gonna be in masks. It's for some feed this, something charity. It's for a good cause Lucy" Katherine explains smiling.
"Hum, okay. Well, have you actually seen the moonstone before? I always thought it was some made up legend" Lucy states.
"I have seen it and I need you to help me get it back" Katherine states.
"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do with it?" Lucy asks and Katherine doesn't answer. "You want me to break the curse" she says.
"Let's just get it first. All I really need from you is backup and to knock Holly out. I can't imagine that Damon and Stefan are just gonna hand it over without putting up a fight" Katherine explains.
"Why Holly? Isn't she on your side?" Lucy asks her confused.
"She is, but she hates when someone in her family it hurt. I want you to link me to Elena and she will try to stop that. It's just for the night" Katherine tells her.
"I can knock her out until midnight" Lucy tells her.
"That should be more then enough time" Katherine tells her.
