Holly's POV
I'm relaxing in the boarding house library as Damon looks at the book shelves. I'm reading one of Stefan's old journals, I borrowed. "What are you looking for Damon?" Stefan asks as he enters the room.
"Not your concern" Damon tells him as I put the journal down.
"No, but putting Elena in harm's way, that is my concern" Stefan tells him.
"What are you talking about?" Damon asks him as he flips through a book.
"Probably Atlanta" I tell him and Stefan hms his agreement.
"Oh, yeah. Elena and I had blast" Damon says looking at Stefan.
"Shame you didn't take me along, I would of had fun" I tell him as I stand up.
"I get it. You're just bitter because one of us gets to be with the person that we love, and poor Katherine is just out of reach. Unless there's another way for you to get into that tomb. Is that what Bree said?" Stefan asks him.
"You're pathetic when you're fishing" Damon tells him.
"I agree with Damon" I state.
"Will he's transparent when he's deflecting" Stefan shots back.
"Don't you have school?" Damon reminds him. He then grabs another book as Stefan leaves. "You could be helping" Damon tells me.
"True, but I have to get ready to crush the decade dance tonight" I tell him smirking.
"Why are you going?" he asks me.
"Boredom and it's a free meal" I tell him smirking. I go get ready for the dance and I look amazing, if I do say so myself. I decide to go get Stefan and go with him to collect Elena. I find him giving Damon an old journal.
"Why are you bringing me dad's journal?" Damon asks him.
"You were looking for it earlier" I say announcing my presence and they look at me. "What do you think boys?" I ask doing a small twirl.
"You got the hair right" Damon tells me and I roll my eyes. "And why would I want it?" he asks gesturing to the journal.
"Gee, I don't know, Damon. Maybe you wanna do a little bit of posthumous bonding. Go ahead. Enjoy it. Read it. I have. Nowhere in it does it say anything about Katherine, or the tomb, or how to open it" Stefan tells him.
"Not surprising, the guy could barely write he's own name" I state as Damon flicks through the journal.
"I'm really sorry that it won't be of any help with your diabolical plan, the sequel. You know, I could help you both" Stefan tells us.
"You? Help me? Aw, I don't know. Seems a little unnatural" Damon says putting the journal down.
"Yeah, what do you have to gain?" I ask him.
"I'll do anything to get you both out of this town, even release Katherine" Stefan states.
"What about the other 26 vampires?" Damon and I ask him.
"No, no, no. They can't come. They have to stay put, but Katherine, I would consider that" Stefan tells us. Damon and I share a look, before looking at Stefan.
"What are you doing? Hmm?" I ask him.
"What's your angle?" Damon adds.
"Think about it" Stefan says avoiding the questions.
"Why should I trust you?" Damon asks him.
"See that's your problem, Damon. You apply all of your shortcomings to everybody else. If history's any indication, there's only one liar among us" Stefan tells him before leaving.
"Well I'm going to the dance, if you swing by. I'll save you a dance" I tell Damon before leaving. I arrive and go over to Bonnie. "Hello Bonnie, I hope there's no heard feelings about the necklace. I only want to see Damon suffer" I tell her.
"I thought you wanted the tomb opened?" she says confused.
"That was just a bonus, see Damon killed someone important to me. I want him to suffer a similar lose, then he and I are even. A quick way to do that is to help him open the tomb. But you assured it won't happen" I lie about the last part. Just then Caroline joins us. "You look great Caroline" I tell her smiling.
"Thank you, it took me two hours" she states. Just then Elena arrives with both Damon and Stefan. She leaves them and approaches us.
"Having fun?" she asks us.
"No, but this took about two hours, so I'm at least staying half of that" Caroline tells her.
"What's Damon doing here?" Bonnie asks Elena.
"He wanted to come. I promise. He'll behave" Elena tells them.
"So what is this, like, a threesome now, you and the Salvatore brothers?" Caroline asks making me giggle.
"No, but if I'm gonna be with Stefan, then I have to learn to tolerate Damon. It's not like I can kill him" Elena tells her.
"There's a thought" Bonnie muses.
"I'll help" Caroline and I say. The three of us clink our glasses together. Elena goes to talk to Stefan and Damon approaches us. He asked Bonnie for a dance, but she refused. Then left with Caroline as I laughed at Damon. Elena then took Stefan onto the dance floor. I drag Damon out onto the floor.
"So why are you here?" I ask him quietly.
"Rogue vampire here, trying to kill Elena and he's been invited in" he states.
"Then we have to kill him tonight" I tell him.
"That's the plan" he states.
"Let's show them how it's done fifties style" I tell him smirking. He smirks back. We start to dance in perfect sync.
Third Persons POV
"You really can't take them anywhere, can you?" Elena asks Stefan. As they watch Damon and Holly show off. Dancing the fifties style perfectly.
"Uh, no" Stefan says sheepishly. Damon and Holly bow as the crowd claps. Elena spots the man they'd been looking for.
"Stefan, back corner" she whispers.
"Get Holly and Damon" he tells her. He goes to investigate as Elena went to get the other two. But she doesn't reach them when she gets a call from the vampire. And he's threatening her brother, so she leaves the room with him following.
Holly's POV
Stefan approaches Damon and I after we finished dancing. "Elena's gone, we have to find her now" he tells us. I spot Anna and she nods to the right signaling we have to talk.
"Go I'll be there shortly" I tell them and they leave. I go to the opposite door and meet Anna. "Let me guess, another one of yours?" I ask her.
"No, will yes. His name is Noah, but he just wants Katherine" she tells me.
"So he's amusing himself with Elena before Katherine's return?" I ask and she nods her head. "I'll make sure he doesn't mention you or Ben. But this is the last time I cover for you Annabelle" I tell her.
"Thank you" she says and leaves. I follow the brother's scent to see them interrogating Noah.
"Who else is working with you?" Stefan demands. I look around and see a broken mop end. I grab it as Damon repeats Stefan's questing. I throw it through the door into Noah's heart and disappear. Now they'll never know who else is here until they discover Anna.
"Noah is dead" I announce entering Anna's motel room. "Ben working on Bonnie?" I ask and she nods her head. "Good, I would hurry if you want to open the tomb before Damon. He and his brother plan on killing the other tomb vampires. Which includes your mother" I tell her.
"Don't worry, I know where to find the Gilbert journal" she assures me. I smile and leave. I go home and change removing my make up. Then go to bed.
