Holly's POV
"Isn't it great dear, they caught that animal killing people" Mrs Wilson says smiling. The news man was saying how a mountain lion was caught close to town and how it was the animal attacking people. I'm glad Damon took more of my advise.
"Yes, it is" I say smiling. "I'm meeting Bonnie and Caroline at the grill. We're discussing the Founder's party" I tell her.
"Ok have fun dear" she says as I leave. I drive to the grill and arrive the same time as Caroline did with Bonnie. I lock the car and walk over to them as Caroline tells Bonnie she's going to the founder's party with Damon.
"You're taking Damon to the founder's party? What about me?" Bonnie asks her. Neither had noticed me.
"Go with Elena" Caroline tells her.
"She's going with Stefan" Bonnie states.
"You can go with me Bonnie, I have no one else to go with" I tell her.
"Thank you Holly" she says smiling in relief. "Caroline, what about your mom? Is she okay with you bringing Damon?" she asks her.
"And I'm supposed to care why?" Caroline asks her.
"He's older sexy danger guy" Bonnie says and I try not to laugh.
"Older sexy danger guy? Is that an official witch twitter tweet?" Caroline asks.
"No more witch jokes, okay? That whole Mr. Tanner prediction thing has me freaked" Bonnie states.
"There was no why you could know that would happen" I assure her.
"Damon's not dangerous. You know, he just has a lot of issues with his brother. You know, like major, deep-rooted drama" Caroline tells her.
"Like?" Bonnie asks.
"I'm not suppose to tell" Caroline says and Bonnie looks at me.
"I may of known for years, doesn't mean I'll tell you anything" I tell her. "Anyway, I have to go pick a dress out for the party. Bonnie I'll pick you up later" I say before leaving. It was a lie, I already had my dress picked out. I wanted to see how things were at the Salvatore Boarding house. I arrive to see Damon pinning Zach against a wall.
I run over and throw Damon off. Zach slides down the wall coughing while rubbing his neck. "Holly, do what do we owe the pleasure?" Damon asks sarcastically.
"You need him Damon, to keep out uninvited vampire guests" I remind him.
"Didn't keep you out" he mumbles.
"I'm older then Katherine, I have a few tricks up my sleeve" I say shrugging as Stefan walks in.
"What's going on?" he asks us.
"Family friend time Stefan, spending some quality time together" Damon states. Before he and I leave the room.
"You know they're probably planning your demise" I tell him.
"Don't worry, I can handle them" he tells me. "See you at the party" he says before getting into his car. No doubt going to feed on Caroline before getting ready for the party. Speaking of I need to change and collect Bonnie. So I head straight home and change into the dress I'd picked out, before going to collect Bonnie.
"Oh Bonnie you look gorgeous" a middle aged woman says. "Who's your friend?" she asks her.
"Holly Evans at your service Mrs..." I say trailing off.
"Lockwood, Carol Lockwood" she says smiling. "Please come in, the party was just starting" she states and we enter the house. We go look at the artifacts and I smile. I then see Elena and Stefan by the registry.
"There's Elena and Stefan, I'm going to go say hello" I tell Bonnie who nods her head. Before going to find Caroline. "Hey guys, enjoying the party?" I ask them.
"Yeah, I was taking a look at the registry" Elena says smiling. "Look at all these familiar names—Sheriff William Forbes, Mayor Benjamin Lockwood. Is that Damon Salvatore? And, Stefan Salvatore?" she asks us.
"The original Salvatore brothers. Our ancestors. Tragic story, actually" Damon says appearing with Caroline.
"That it is" I say faking sympathy.
"We don't need to bore them with stories of the past" Stefan tells us.
"It's not boring, Stefan. I'd love to hear more about your family" Elena tells him.
"Well, I'm bored. I want to dance. And Damon won't dance with me" Caroline complains. "Could I just borrow your date?" she asks Elena.
"I don't really dance" Stefan says.
"Sure he does, you should see him" I say smirking.
"Waltz, the jitterbug, the moonwalk. He does it all" Damon adds.
" You wouldn't mind, would you, Elena?" Caroline asks her.
"It's up to Stefan" Elena replies.
"Well I won't take no for an answer" Caroline states as she drags Stefan to the dance floor.
"I'll leave you two to talk, I to wish to dance" I say leaving them. I end up bumping into Mrs Lockwood and the sheriff. "Good evening, do you guys have any drinks that don't contain alcohol?" I ask Mrs Lockwood.
"Of course, here" she says grabbing two glasses from a passing waiter. But I was looking at the sheriff.
"I'm Holly and you must be Sheriff Forbes, I'm a friend of Caroline's" I tell her smiling.
"How do you know Caroline?" she asks me.
"We go to school together, honestly I find it boring and might drop out. To go back to home schooling" I tell her. "Thank you" I say taking the glass from Mrs Lockwood. I smelt the vervain in the drink, but take a sip anyway. "This is nice, what is it?" I ask her smiling sweetly.
"Just a herb" she says smiling. "You know my son could use a responsible girl like you. He doesn't really have good taste in girls" she states.
"Tyler right?" I ask and she nods her head. "Not really my type, but I could set him up with someone decent" I tell her.
"That would be wonderful" she says smiling. We talk awhile longer when I hear something going on outside and excuse myself. I see Stefan picking up an unconscious Damon and run away. I see Caroline on the ground and give her a small vial of blood. Her neck heals as I hear someone approach and I leave. Texting Bonnie to get a ride home.
