S2E41: Niklaus

Holly's POV

Katherine is making us coffee while I read a book. "I'll be back as soon as I can" Maddox tells Klaus.

"Yes, do hurry. I'm anxious to get out of this body. And if you get hung up, call me. You know how impatient I get" Klaus tells him. Don't we all?

"Where is he going?" Katherine asks when she appears with my coffee.

"To retrieve me. So I can get out of this bad hair-do" Klaus states.

"Are you sure that's a good idea Klaus?" she asks him.

"Well, the full moon is almost upon us" he states as he places the moonstone on the table." I've killed the witch, I have the moon stone, and the doppelgänger is waiting in the wings. Ohh, I am ready to break this curse" he tells us.

"And why would you do that here? There's so many people that would try to stop you" Katherine tells him.

"Because he has to Katerina. It's the birthplace of the doppelgänger" I tell her as I sip my coffee.

"I didn't realize that was a requirement" she mumbles.

"Well, how could you? You betrayed me and fled England before I could give you the details, Katerina. But I did find your birthplace with Holly's help and I slaughtered your family. So I guess we're cool. Let's just hope that Elena isn't as stupid as you were" Klaus tells her.

"She won't run. She'll die before she lets anyone that she loves get hurt" I assure him.

"And that's exactly what I'm counting on" he states. "You can't leave until I say so" he say compelling her before leaving. Suddenly I'm pulled into a memory of when I first meet Katherine.

(England 1492, flashback)

I enter the ball room with Klaus, tonight is his birthday. He lead me over to Elijah and Katerina. I was shocked when I saw her, she looked just like my mum. "Katerina, may I introduce to you the lord Niklaus and Lady Hollyann" Elijah says. Katerina had curtsied as Klaus kissed her hand and I curtsied back.

"Niklaus is the name my father gave me. Please. Call me Klaus" he had told her.

"From where have you come, Katerina?" I asked her curious.

"I'm new to town, my lady" she tells me.

" Katerina is from Bulgaria" Elijah tells us.

"Zdravei, Katerina" Klaus told her smiling. She laughed in delight at the unexpected use of her mother tongue.

"Very good" she praised him.

"Do you mind, brother? Hollyann? I would like to have a moment alone with her" Klaus told us.

"No, not at all. Happy Birthday, brother" Elijah told him. Klaus lead her away.

(End of flashback)

I'm brought back into the present by a knock at the door. " Alaric, are you home? Andie...Star, Jenna's friend" a woman says. Ahh Damon's latest blood bag. Katherine tries goes to grab the doorknob but an invisible force prevents her hand from touch it. She tries again, gives up, and walks away from the door.

I go and open it to see Damon with Andie. "Damon, what a surprise" I say.

"Thank god" Katherine says as Andie enters the apartment. While Damon is stuck outside.

"Wow! You were right. She looks exactly like Elena" Andie states looking at Katherine.

"Thought you might be dead" he tells her.
