Holly's POV

"So Stefan, I hear you're thinking of joining the football team" I say smiling. I was in his room sitting on his desk when he woke up. "Why do you still have this picture of Katherine?" I ask him looking at the 145 year old photo.

"Why are you in my room? And more importantly, who invited you in?" he asks me as he puts a shirt on.

"Zach did and I thought we could go to school together" I tell him. "Better not let Elena see that photo" I add before going downstairs. Stefan soon arrived and we went to school together. We find Elena and Bonnie together talking.

"Good morning, Elena" Stefan says smiling.

"Good morning, Bonnie" I say.

"Hey, um, I gotta find Caroline. She's not answering her phone. So I'll see you guys later" she states before leaving.

"Bonnie wait" Elena and I call.

"She doesn't like me very much" Stefan says.

"What gave you that impression?" I ask him rhetorically.

"She doesn't know you. She's my best friend. She's just looking out for me. But when she does, she will love you" Elena tells him. We're now outside walking along the oval and I notice Matt talking to another guy. While they look our way, I could tell Stefan was eavesdropping. "Here's what we're going to do. Are you both free tonight?" Elena asks us.

"Yes" we reply.

"Perfect. Dinner, my house. 8:00. You both, me, and Bonnie. You two will spend some quality time and she'll get to see what a great guy you are. Mission accomplished" Elena says smiling. Before Stefan or I could reply the guy Matt was talking to throw the ball towards Stefan's head. But he turned around and caught it, before throwing it back. The three of us go inside. "That throw was insaning" Elena says impressed. "I didn't know you played football" she adds.

"He use to" I tell her.

"It was a long time ago" Stefan adds.

"So why don't you try out for the team?" Elena asks him.

"I was saying the same thing this morning" I tell her smiling.

"Yeah, I don't think so" Stefan tells us.

"So you don't like football?" I ask him.

"No, I love football. I think it's a great sport. But in this case, I don't think football likes me. You saw Tyler over there, and we both know how Matt feels" Stefan explains.

"So the guy's name is Tyler, seems like a dick to me" I state.

"They don't know you. To them, you're mysterious loner guy. Wouldn't hurt to be part of. Make some friends" Elena tells him.

"Says the girl who spends her alone time writing in a cemetery" Stefan states.

"Nothing wrong with that, though I do prefer doing it in high had to reach places" I state.

"Hey, come on. There's more to me than just gloomy graveyard girl. There's a whole other Elena that you have yet to meet. She was into everything, very busy" Elena tells us.

"Well we look forward to meeting her" I tell her.

"When will that be?" Stefan asks her.

"Soon, she's working on it" Elena assures him as we enter our history class. They sit in the back while I set by the window. I was ignoring the lesson until Mr Tanner asked Elena about Pearl Harbor.
