Holly's POV
Damon and I are hunting in the woods when we come across a campsite with a couple. It was agreed I get the man and gets the woman. Fog descends around the tent. "Hey. Did you hear that?" the woman asks the man.
"Hear what?" the man asks.
"I heard thunder" she states.
"There's no thunder" he assures her.
"Are you sure? Because if it rains, then we won't be able to see the comet" she tells him.
"It's not gonna rain. Listen, I...got you a little something. It's back in the car. Don't you move" he tells her exiting the tent. She tells him to stay dry and he assured her it wouldn't rain. I cover his mouth and bite his neck jumping into a tree. Once he was near dead I snap his neck leaving him in the tree over the tent. The dripping of his blood onto the tent got the girls attention.
"I knew it! I told you it was gonna rain!" she shouts as she exits the tent. Then looks around confused when she sees no water. She looks up and sees her boyfriend in the tree. She runs to the car scared and tries to open it. "Open! No! Please!" she begs and it opens with a beep. Looking around nervously she opens the door. Only for Damon to jump down and drained her completely.
"Well that was fun, you going to the candle night thing?" I ask Damon.
"Maybe" he says. "You going to school?" he asks me.
"Nah, I can catch up on any work I miss. Besides I have more important things to do" I tell him. I feed to the Grill to spend the day there. Owning the pool table and dart board. Until Caroline, Bonnie and Elena appear. "May I join you?" I ask them.
"Sure, we were just talking about the comet and Elena's night with Stefan" Caroline states.
"Oh do tell" I say looking at Elena.
"Yeah Elena, what happened next?" Caroline asks her.
"Nothing" Elena tells us.
"You and Stefan talked all night?" Caroline asks her.
"There was no sloppy first kiss or touchy feely of any kind?" I ask.
"Nope. We didn't go there" she tells me.
"Not even a handshake? I mean, Elena, we are your friends. Including Holly, Ok? You are supposed to share the smut" Caroline tells her.
"We just talked for hours" Elena states.
"OK, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already! Ok, it's easy. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex!" Caroline explains.
"Profound" I say smirking. Elena gets up and we all look at her.
"Where are you going?" Bonnie asks her.
"Caroline's right. It is easy. If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying what I was going to do" Elena replies before leaving.
"Holly can you help me hand out pamphlets?" Bonnie asks me.
"For the night of the comet?" I ask and she nods her head. "Sure, anyone else helping?" I ask.
"Elena will be" she states. "You coming Caroline?" she asks.
"No, you guys go ahead" she tells us. Bonnie and I shrug leaving her at the grill. We had been handing out pamphlets for half an hour when Elena appears. I give her half of mine and she starts to help us.
"Tonight, night of the comet! Would you like a program?" I ask someone and they take one.
"Would you like a program?" Elena asks a couple handing them one
"He didn't call, huh?" Bonnie asks her.
"Or text. But I realized we never even exchanged that stuff. We've never gotten to the texting part" Elena states.
"That's an important milestone in any relationship" Bonnie tells her.
"Isn't it? The timing is wrong, anyway" Elena tells us.
"When is it ever right?" Bonnie and I ask her.
"I'm not ready, Bonnie, Holly" she tells us.
"Who is?" Bonnie asks her.
"At least I put myself out there" Elena states.
"Is that what you're calling it?" I ask her.
"What do you mean?" she asks me confused.
"All I'm hearing is reasons why you can't" I tell her and Bonnie nods her head in agreement. "Well I'm done, see you guys tonight" I say before leaving. I went home and got a jacket before going to town square where people were carrying candles and lighting them. I grab an unlit candle and someone lights it.
As I look up the sky a guy comes up to me. "Hey have you seen a girl with brown hair and bandage on her neck?" he asks me.
"Afraid not, why?" I ask him
"She's my sister and she has gone missing. Her name is Vicki" he states.
"Well I'll keep an eye out for her" I assure him. I then spy the Salvatore boys on a roof, Damon holding a girl. I run up to them to watch the show.
"Ugh! Relax" Damon says throwing the girl at Stefan. I notice the bandage on her neck, she must be Vicki. And by the way the boys are acting, she must be the girl Damon left alive. "I don't need her to be dead, but...you might" he states. "What attacked you the other night?" he asks Vicki.
"I don't know, an animal" she answers.
"Are you sure about that? Think. Think about it. Think really hard. What attacked you?" he asks her.
After thinking hard she says "vampire".
"Who did this to you?" Damon asks her.
"You did!" she exclaims.
"Wrong" Damon tells her.
"Don't" Stefan tells him.
"It was Stefan" Damon states.
"Don't" Stefan says more formally.
"Come here" Damon says picking Vicki up. "Stefan did this to you" he compels her.
"Stefan did this to me" she repeats.
"He's a vampire. A vicious, murderous monster" Damon tells Vicki.
"Damon, please don't do this" Stefan begs.
"If you couldn't fix it before, I don't know what you can do now" Damon says taking the bandage off of Vicki's neck. "You have two choices. You can feed and make her forget. Or you can let her run, screaming 'vampire' through the town square" he states.
"Not going to happen Damon" I say taking Vicki from Stefan. "I only just got to town and I don't plan on leaving yet. I'd rather no one knows that vampires are back" I state. "Forget this entire scene, you blacked out. It was an animal that attacked you, not Stefan. Vampires don't exist" I whisper to Vicki compelling her. "Stefan take her to her brother, I need to have a word with Damon" I tell him and he does so.
"Now Damon, you better stop causing trouble or I'll have to kill you. And you know I can" I tell him. "I know why you're here and I'll stay out of your way. As long as you stay out of my way and don't cause trouble. I'll keep your secret and might even help you" I state.
"So what should I do all wise one?" he asks me.
"Snatch, eat, erase or find someone to compel and feed on" I tell him. Before leaving to go home. Far to much drama for one night, though it was entertaining. But honestly if Damon doens't learn control and Stefan doesn't stop him. I will do it.
