7. A decision with a reason

Sanskar was freezed as soon as he heard this. He was eating when his hand stopped in the middle.

"What?" Sanskar could merely whisper in shock.

"What really Papa? Is it true? Really?" Laksh asked happily.

Dp nodded at him with smile.

"Yes Laksh." Dp said.

"You know Sanskar, when Shekhar ji said that they wish Swara to be your wife and our DIL. For a minute, I couldn't believe it if that was true and he actually said that. But I can't express how happy I am." Sujatha said with smile.

"You are right Sujatha. And Sanskar, we all are so happy with proposal. Swara is really nice girl. She is so traditional and having good values." Ap said.

"I always wanted a girl for Sanskar who will understand him. I never cared about outer beauty but a beautiful heart is enough to make the person beautiful and Swara is epitome of beauty. She is really having a beautiful heart. We all meet her just once but she won out heart." Sujatha said.

"You are right Sujatha. She is really nice girl." Ram said.

"Sanskar, you were not in home so we just had casual talks but the final decision rest with you only. Shekhar ji also have no problem with it. We all believe that marriage should be concent of two people rather than two families." Ram said further looking at Sanskar who was having serious expression and lost in his thoughts. He wasn't looking at them.

"Sanskar, if you want we can go and meet Swara once. Or if you just want to meet her, understand each other. You are free to do that. We know, these decisions aren't taken in hurry. So, if you need time and want to think about it then you can take time." Dp said.

"Yes Sanskar, you have all your time. It's totally your decision cause we all are happy with this Alliance. We don't see any reason to deny but it's you who is going to marry her and spend life with her. So, decision should be yours. Personally, I feel she is perfect for you Sanskar. I really liked her. I m really feeling lucky that she is going to be..." Ap was saying when they heard Sanskar.

"No Maa, I can't marry Swara." Sanskar vice was heard with serious tone.

Everyone was smiling but just one sentence by sanskar and the smiles dropped from there faces with frown.

"What? But why Sanskar?" Sujatha asked confusingly.

"Yes Sanskar, why? You didn't like Swara? Sanskar, she is per..." Ap tried to say.

" I know she is perfect but What about her Maa? Doesn't she matter? Doesn't her happiness matter? If she is perfect for me then am I perfect for her? Doesn't it matter?" Sanskar asked looking at her.

"Sanskar, Shekhar ji came with proposal and.." Sujatha tried to say but Sanskar interupted.

"Sorry mom, but how can you be sure that she is not forced with this decision Maa?" Sanskar said.

"Sanskar, Shekhar ji told us that Swara agreed with it. She is not forced for this decision." Ap said trying to make him understand.

"Even if she agreed. It can be either sympathy or agreed because of her parents. I can never be her choice." Sanskar said.

"Why are you saying like this Sanskar?" Ram asked.

"Because that's the truth dad and Mom, yes you are right. She is nice girl, infact she is best but she don't deserve it. She deserves someone who is best for her and I can't be perfect for her. (Take a deep sigh) I m sorry Maa, Bade papa, mom, Dad but please I can't marry her. It's no for me. " Sanskar said
