17. A few seconds glimpse

They have reached Gadodia mansion. His family came out of car and he was also about to come out when he sees his seat belt stucked.

"What happened bhai?" Laksh asked as he was about to open the door to go out. Uttara has already rushed out as soon as car stopped.

"Nothing Lucky, this seat belt stucked. Don't worry, you go. I will just come out." Sanskar said.

"Sure?" Laksh asked.

"Yeah." Sanskar said.

Laksh nodded and he came out of car. Sanskar managed to removed the belt then he opened the door and came out of the car. He went toward his family who were standing near the entrance and Shekhar and shomi were greeting them.
He also greeted them and they blessed him with smile. Shekhar hugged Sanskar patting his shoulder.

"We are so glad that you all came." Shomi said.

"We are also happy that you invited us and now we all are going to be a family soon." Sujatha said with smile.

Unknowingly his eyes was trying to find her when he didn't see her with her parents. At the same time he was feeling someone's continuous gaze on himself. Is it her? He thought. And all of the sudden his eyes looked up only to meet her beautiful eyes. She was looking at him. But that wasn't the only thing that left him surprised at that moment. He was amused to see her appearance but no doubt she still managed to look beautiful even with that flour traces on her cheeks and forehead and the messy bun with few fringes falling on her face.

It wasn't even more than five seconds that their eyes met when he sees her face expression changing and eyes widen a bit like realising something and next second she immediately hide behind that curtain. His lips curved into interesting smile as he knew she was still there looking at the shadow of figure behind that white curtain.

Laksh who was standing beside Sanskar, sees him looking up and he also looked at that direction but he only find the curtain moving. Still, it wasn't too hard for him to understand that his bhabhijaan was there and the smile on Sanskar's face was confirming him that he is right.

"Bhai, shall we go inside or you want to stand here only?" Laksh whispered near Sanskar's ear when Shomi and Shekhar calls them inside and everyone started moving.

"Lucky." Sanskar gave him a look which Laksh just shurgged off.

Then everyone went inside.

On the other side, Swara squeezed her eyes tightly and bite her lips nervously. Although they have talked to each other on phone and even met twice, still just his eyes was enough to send a shiver inside her body and at the same time, the warmth feeling to her heart.

"Why did I even think to look down? He has seen me. Like this! What he must be thinking? " She muttered to herself. She opened her eyes and cursed herself inwardly.

"But I don't think he will think anything bad, he is just so nice. Still, it's awkward." Swara thought thinking about the moment just a few seconds ago.

That's when her eyes caught her dress that was lying on the bed.

"Oh no, I should get ready fast." She muttered to herself and immediately rushed inside washroom.

After taking a quick shower, she came outside wearing her bathrobe and drying her hair with towel. She sat in front of dressing table and hurriedly dried her hair with hair drier. Then she immediately rushed inside her walk-in closet grabbing her clothes and shut the door behind her.

Downstairs:

Everyone were sitting in the hall and chatting casually. The tea and snacks were served.
