43. A rain of colours

A couple of weeks more passed and now only three weeks were remaining for Sanskar's and Swara's marriage. The preparations were being done from shopping to guests list prepration and invitations. Both the families were so happy and so was the couple. They wanted everything best for their children. They were waiting for the day when they will be tied in pious bond of marriage.
Other than that, Arav and Riya were engaged now and their marriage was fixed after four months. They were comfortable with it as this time will let both of them and their families to know more about each other.

A couple of weeks later,
It was holi celebration party today. Like every year, Maheshwaris were hosting the Holi party. Everything was arranged in the lawn. Guests were arriving. Mehra's, Jaisingh's and Saxena family has already came. They were welcomed by Maheshwaris.

"Mostly, everyone has arrived. Where did Bhabhijaan stuck bhai? Why don't you call her?" Laksh asked teasingly standing beside Sanskar.

"They are on their way, Lucky." Sanskar said avoiding the teasing smile on his face.

"Ohoo, so you are superfast. You have already called her. I see, someone is dying to see her." Laksh said in same tone.

Sanskar gave impossible look to Laksh but didn't said anything.

That's when they see the Gadodia's car arrived. Elders went to welcome them and Laksh and Sanskar also followed them. Sanskar gave a look to Laksh to keep his mouth shut and like always he gave unaffected look.

Shekhar and Shomi came out of car. Then Swara came out. She was wearing white colour lehnga wth simple design. Her dupatta as usual pinned at one side of her shoulder and her hair was left open. She was looking so beautiful. Sanskar looked at her and smiled. He went forward to take blessings from Shekhar and Shomi and greeted them. Swara also took blessings from Dp, Annapurna, Ram and Sujatha. Laksh greeted her and hugged her side way then Uttara excitedly hugged her. That's when her eyes met his.

Dressed in white kurta pajama, he was looking dashing. He gave a small nod at her with smile complimenting her without saying a word that she is looking beautiful and she blinked looking away with shy smile understanding his words.

Talking casually for couple of minutes, Everyone went to the lawn where the party was going on. Mehra's, Saxena's and Jaisingh's were there only. They greeted happy holi to each other applying colours to each other and hugging them. Shomi applied small amount of colour to Sanskar. Shekhar also did the same blessing him. Swara was also applied colours by elders in small amount to her cheeks as blessing. Swara smiled at them.

Elders were wishing each other and applying colours to each other. Swara and Sanskar were standing beside each other. He looked at her and she also looked up to see him. Smiling at her, he was about to say something when Uttara dragged Swara along with her.

"Swara bhabhi, let's go to Riya bhabhi and Ragini bhabhi. They are with my friends. I will also meet you with them. Come na.." Uttara chirped excitedly and held her hand to drag her.

Swara smiled at her and looking at Sanskar for once she went with Uttara. Sanskar looked at her retreating figure when Laksh put his hand on his shoulder telling their friends were waiting. Sanskar looked at where Laksh was pointing and sees Arav standing there with few guys and he was calling them. Sanskar nodded and went there with Laksh excusing themselves from elders.

"Laksh, no... No, no.. you have already applied colour to me. Not again." Swara said looking at his fist filled with colour and taking back step.

"Come on bhabhijaan, that was just formality I did in front of elders. So get ready for the real holi." Laksh said teasingly.
