46. A moment awaiting

The day after tomorrow, wedding rituals begins with Mehndi functions. Mehndi was strictly kept as ladies function. Although, Laksh and Arav tried to sneak with their stupid plans but get caught as Uttara saw them resulting them to thrown out of the function.

Sitting with her Shomi and Annapurna, Swara was smiling watching the local folk dance of Rajasthan. Riya, Uttara and Ragini were also also dancing along with few ladies and girls. The Mehndi was being applied on her both arms. She was wearing a green colour lehnga and looking so beautiful.

While Swara was missing him very much and the condition was not different for Sanskar. They just talked on phone. And just to make it a bit more difficult, Sanskar put the condition of no video calls. He wants to see in front of him when he is here, not on phone anymore like he did when he was in London. Because he won't be able to hold himself the second he got a glimpse of her beautiful face. He knows he have to wait but this wait worth everything.

"I won't be able to hold my heart anymore the second I got a glimpse of your angelic face. So, I will wait. As this wait worth everything." She thought about his word what he said last night on phone and smiled.

"Swara dear, have this juice. You must be feeling thirsty." Sujatha came there with orange juice and sit beside her.

"Mom, it's ok. I will have it later." Swara said politely.

"No, no no, I am listening anything. Come on, have it. Otherwise, I will get angry." Sujatha said with fake glare.

Shomi and Annapurna smiled.

"Swara, have it beta." Annapurna said.

Swara nodded. Then Sujatha made her drink juice caressing her hair gently with smile. Shomi was so overwhelmed to see her daughter getting so much love from her in-laws.

"Thank you, mom." Swara said with a smile.

"You are always welcome dear." Sujata said and caressed her face.

Then Ragini and Uttara came to them. She asked Sujatha, Shomi and Annapurna to join and took them to the center. Riya came and sat beside Swara. She was dancing since so long.

"Tired?" Swara asked raising her eyebrows.

"Not at all, it's so much fun. I had never witnessed such a grand and beautiful Indian wedding functions till now." Riya said excitedly.

Swara smiled at her. Then Riya sees Swara's mehndi design as it was done now.

"OMG!! This is soooo beautiful. I loved it." Riya said looking at her both hands.

"Yeah, it is. Anyways, my mehndi is done. You also apply it." Swara said.

"Yup, I am so excited." Riya said and extended her left hand to the mehndi designer. She smiled at her and started doing her work.

"Let me take photos. I can't sit idle." Riya said and she took out her phone from her sling with another hand.

Turning on the camera, she took few selfies with Swara and mehndi designer. She took few videos of ladies dancing. Then she asked Swara to pose. Swara smiled and did few poses. Riya took photos. Then she did something and had smirking smile on her face. Swara noticed it and said.

"What are you doing?" Swara asked looking at her face.

"You will know in few minutes." Riya said with mischievous smile and winked at her.

Dressed up in olive green sherwani, he was going to see Arav. After being thrown out of Mehndi function, Arav and Laksh got busy to see some arrangements. Laksh went to nearby market with some staffs to bring something while Arav was in catering area. Sanskar thought to go and see. Anyways, he didn't have much to do. He just had to be part of a small ritual in morning. After that, he has nothing much to do. Although, a part of him wanted to have a glimpse of her, he stopped himself.
He was walking toward catering area, when his phone pinged. He took out his phone from his pocket and sees a message from Riya. Confusingly, he opened the chat only to see a pic and a pleasant smile adored his lips looking at the angel.
