53. A night of affliction

It's been three weeks after Laksh and Ragini's wedding while on the other hand Arav and Riya's wedding preparations started as now only a month left. With the sudden back to back functions and chaos, a lots of responsibility increased on Sanskar. He wanted his brother to enjoy his days after wedding. They had gone for their honeymoon. And on the other hand, the project that Maheshwaris and Jaisingh industry doing togather was going on high pace. So, one has to take care of that. No doubt Arav was there but Sanskar told him, he should take care about his upcoming wedding too. Because Riya should not feel neglected. So, in all this Sanskar was too much busy with office work. Swara got worried about his health but he assured her that he is fine. Swara nodded. She also helped him few times to which he was glad. She also understand the situation that Laksh wasn't here and Arav can't involve too much due to wedding.

Finally last night Laksh and Ragini were back from their honeymoon. Laksh came to know about the sudden pressure of work on Sanskar. He was angry a bit that he didn't even let him know although he called regularly. He could have come back. But Sanskar told him that he had handled everything. So he shouldn't be worried. Laksh was back to office the next day only and no doubt it was a big help.

Maheshwari industry:
MD's cabin,

Sanskar was reading some papers when he heard a knock. He looked up to see Laksh from glass door. He nodded at him to come. Even though, he told him enough time to come without knocking he doesn't listen to him.

"Bhai, I guess you don't want to see yourself alive tonight?" Laksh said entering inside his cabin.

"What? What are you saying Lucky?" Sanskar asked him confusingly.

"So what? You engrossed yourself too much in your file that you didn't notice your phone. Check it yourself." Laksh said eyeing at the phone lying on the table.

Sanskar confusingly takes the phone and his eyes opened wide watching 29 missed called from Swara and 10 from Sujatha. That's when his eyes caught the time. It was 11:38 p.m. already.

"Oh no!!" Sanskar muttered slowly.

"Yup, I guessed this reaction. So, shall we leave brother?" Laksh said.

"Why didn't you go Laksh? It's going to be 12 already." Sanskar asked him.

" Well I had work but I was just checking how early you used to go back to home in my absence?" Laksh said sarcastically.

Sanskar gave him a look.

"No, don't give me that look. I am not scared of it. If Ragini, my time and my health is important to me then same goes to you. Swara bhabhijaan and your health and time also important to you. I understand I just got married three weeks ago but bhabhijaan and you also got married a couple of months back. Your time is also no less important than ours." Laksh said.

"So you stayed back to scold your elder brother?" Sanskar asked him raising his eyebrows.

"Not really, I just came to warn you about Chachi ji's anger. She will do the honour of scolding you. So, shall we leave or you want to debate with me?" Laksh said giving him tight smile.

That's when his phone flashes and he sees it's Swara.

"Let's go, I am coming." He said nodding at him.

"Although, she doesn't get angry easily still Good luck with your second session of scolding. Third session awaiting at home." Laksh said with chuckle and left the cabin.

Sanskar shook his head and took the call.

"Yeah Swara..." He said and he heard her from other side.

"I was wondering what's the time now my dear husband. Could you help me with that please if your phone and clock hanging on your cabin wall has started working?" He heard her not so pleasant tone.
