45. A traditional custom

Days passed and preparation were on full swing. Mostly things were done as the wedding day was coming closer. Gadodia's family jet off to Jodhpur ten days earlier to the wedding. Riya also went along with Swara. Everything was planned to be done with full traditional customs and rituals. Shekhar didn't want anything to go wrong as it was his only daughter's wedding. The Palace was fully renovated and it looked beautiful.

Maheshwari family also reached Jodhpur after three days. Arav and Ragini also came along with Maheshwaris. All the arrangements were taken care of. Although Shekhar tried to deny but Ram and Dp also equally contributed from their side saying they are family now. Shekhar was so glad of having them as Swara's in-laws. Arav took the charge to see other arrangements personally coordinating with wedding planners, management team, and decorators. Maheshwari were glad to have Arav. Although Laksh wasn't there but Arav was no less than their son. He managed everything. Riya and Ragini also helped him. Swara tried to help but perk of being the bride, she was not given any responsibility. She was just told to rest and refresh as it's her wedding.

Swara felt so lucky to have such beautiful family and friends in her life. But in all this, she missed Sanskar so much. Although she knew he will come very soon but she wished him to be here with her. The situation was no differ for Sanskar. He was also missing her. They talk to each other on phone and also on video calls but as Sanskar mostly remains busy in works, they don't get much time. Sanskar feels guilty. He apologies to her always when he get late in calling her back or replying her message but Swara never complained him. She understands him. He may be so tired due to workload or get late but he never slept without leaving a message for her or calling. Her voice was like a medicine to his stress and he could get peaceful sleep. The way she calms him. She tells him about everything happening in jodhpur, wedding preparations and all. She also asked his choice but his only answer was ' I like everything the way you want. So, you can do according to your choice.' so, Swara stopped asking him. Sanskar wanted to wrap up all the work soon and finish it for once. So that he can go back to India and he won't need to come here again for the same project. She was also waiting for him eagerly.

A few days more passed. Swara's dresses, jwelleries and accessories for various ceremony of wedding had arrived from designers. So was Sanskar's outfits. Finally, the day has also come when Sanskar was coming back from London. It was only three days left for the wedding. Yes, only three day. They got late by one day due flight cancellations. They were going to board the flight one day before only but because of adverse weather conditions, the flight was rescheduled to the next day. The Villa was beautifully decorated giving a royal look. Jaisingh, Mehra's and Saxena's has also arrived for the wedding. Few Guests and relatives has also arrived while others are going to join in couple of days. Except for the groom himself. He was going to arrive tonight with Laksh. The functions were planned to start from the day after tomorrow. Firstly Mehndi, then Sangeet and then Haldi to be done on wedding day itself in morning, before wedding.

Night
8:45 p.m.,
A black car entered the main gate of villa and then stopped at porch. The back door was opened by the driver and here comes the groom. Sanskar came out of the car in white full sleeve shirt holding his overcoat in his left arm and right hand in his pocket as usual. Laksh also came out from the other side in sky blue shirt and overcoat in his hand. They smiled to see family members standing at the entrance with smile on their faces. Shekhar and Shomi were also standing there only. Uttara ran to Sanskar happily and hugged him.

"I missed you Bhai." Uttara said.

"Missed you too, Uttara." Sanskar said with smile hugging her back.

"Mom is angry on you. So beware of her." Uttara whispered.

Sanskar nodded at her understanding her word. They broke the hug. Then Uttara took his overcoat from his hand. Sanskar caressed her face with smile and then he went to elders. Uttara hugged Laksh. Then they took blessings from elders. Sanskar stood in front of Sujatha with smile but she glared at him.
