22. A unique bond

The next evening,

Arav came to Maheshwari mansion. He is treated like family by everyone and they love him like Sanskar and Laksh.

Arav took blessings from elders and casually talked to them. Sanskar was there only and Laksh has went to pick up Uttara from her friend's house as she has a group assignment. Dp and Ram went to study for some work but not before strictly ordering Arav not to leave before having dinner with them to which Arav accepted with smile.

They were involved in talking about his family and Sujatha asking when he is planning to settle.

"Aunty, please you don't start now. You know what happened this morning? Mom, literally came with five photographs of girls and asked me to select one." Arav expressed with horrific expression.

Sanskar chuckled while Annapurna and Sujatha also laughed a bit looking at his expression.

"So? Did you select anyone?" Annapurna asked.

"No Aunty, I don't believe in discrimination. I liked all five." Arav said casually and laughs.

"Idiot. I don't understand why our sons are so allergic to marriage. I m glad that finally one agreed otherwise Laksh had planned to stay bachelor for his brother. And then you, unbelievable!!" Sujatha said.

"I am like that only Aunty." Arav said dramatically.

Sanskar smiled at them. His mind drifted toward the reason why did he never want to marry? And now... When things are completely changing? For good or for bad, don't know.

Arav noticed Sanskar's expression but he thought to talk to him in alone.

That's when they heard a loud scream of someone that they had to literally cover their ears.

"Aravvv bhaiiii" Uttara squealed in happiness to see him.

Sighing, he removed his hands from his ears and looked at the entrace to see Uttara standing with Laksh with happy and excited face. While Laksh was like, he will faint anytime for being the nearest person to hear that loudspeaker pitch of voice and with the impact he was feeling his cerebellum is vibrating.

"Uttara." Arav smiled at his sister.

They might not have blood relation but the bond between them is more than siblings. Arav is big reason behind spoiling Uttara. Sujatha and Annapurna always complains this but Arav never get affected. Also Arav's parents love Uttara as their daughter, even more than Arav.

Uttara runs toward him throwing her handbag to Laksh who was finally able to stable himself and gave her annoyed look. Arav smiled at her. He got up from he couch. He came toward her to hug her but suddenly he was pushed abruptly to the side and Uttara moved ahead of him. He got confused and looked behind to see Uttara looking around, here and there. Annapurna and Sujatha were equally confused except Laksh and Sanskar. They knew what's coming.

"Uttara?" Arav called her confusingly.

"Arey bhai, get aside na? Why are you standing in the middle?" Uttara pushed Arav aside another time before looking around him near the couch and table.

"Where is it?" Uttara muttered to herself.

"What are you finding Uttara?" Sujatha asked.

Uttara didn't said anything being immersed in looking for something that was invisible there. Then she narrowed his eyebrows toward Arav.

"Bhai!" Uttara said.

"What did I do now?" Arav muttered to himself looking at her face and prayed inwardly to save him from his sister.
