49. A blissful night

Kolkata:
They reached Kolkata where cars were waiting for them to pick up. They got into cars and then reached Maheshwari mansion. Swara was warmly welcomed. The mansion was filled with guest and relatives, neighbours also as Maheshwari has long list of contacts and they were eager to see Maheshwaris elder Daughter in law. Media was uninvited guest to click photo of leading businessman along with his wife. But Arav and Laksh handled them as they will introduce Swara in Reception day.

After the welcoming few rituals were performed by the newly wedded couple. It's been a while and already evening. So, after the dinner, Sujatha took Swara to Sanskar's room, now hers too. Uttara and Ragini accompanied her while Sanskar was with Arav and Laksh busy with few guests.

"Swara, now you take rest and relax. Hmm, Sanskar will be coming anytime soon." Sujatha said.

"Yes bhabhi, Sanskar bhai will come soon afterall he also can't wait for so long to be with you." Uttara said teasingly.

Swara blushed looking down hearing this. Ragini and Uttara chuckled while Sujatha smiled at her. She cups her face.

"Since the day you came in his life, I only saw him genuinely happy. I saw his lost smile back. So, thank you so much beta. And your smile says a lot. You already are blessing to us. May god keep you both happy always and I always want this happiness on your face." Sujata said.

"And if you ever miss your parents, just share with me. I am also your mom. I know what it feels like. So whenever you want to go, you can rightfully go and spend time, stay with them. No one will stop you." Sujata said cuping her face.

Swara nodded with smile. Sujatha kissed her forehead with affection and ask her to take rest before going out along with Ragini and Uttara who didn't leave before giving a teasing look to her which made her blush deeper shade.

Sujata came downstairs only to find Sanskar busy with guest. Rather he was stuck with them. Arav and Laksh saw this and they were chuckling. Sujata shook her head unbelievably. She went toward them and excused Sanskar from the guests. Arav and Laksh also came from there.

"What is it my businessman son? You have a beautiful wife to take care of now and she is waiting for you. And, here you are busy in your business talk?" Sujatha asked raising her eyebrows.

"Mom, it's nothing like that. Actually they are..." Sanskar tried to reason.

"No excuses when it comes to my daughter. Accept your fault." Sujata said in fake serious tone.

"Okay, sorry." Sanskar said giving up and smiled at her.

"Wow, bhai gave in so soon. Magic of bhabhijaan." Laksh said.

They chuckled while Sanskar shook his head.

"By the way Aunty, he was stuck with them. They weren't ready to leave him like they are going to finalise the deal tonight only." Arav said rolling his eyes.

"Amazing people, simply don't understand the difference between wedding invitation and business party invitation." Sujatha said in a bit sarcastic tone.

"True." Arav agreed to her.

"Yeah, so come on bhai. Bhabhijaan is waiting for you. Go na? Or you want to continue chatting with us?" Laksh asked teasingly.

Annapurna also came there. She also asked Sanskar to go.

"Ji Badi maa, I was going." Sanskar said hiding that small blushing smile that crept his lips.

"Ohho Bhai, don't worry. We are here na. We will lead you to your destination." Laksh said teasingly and held his hand.

"Laksh I..." Sanskar tried to say but Arav also accompanied Laksh. Both started dragging him upstairs although Sanskar tried to stop them saying he can go on his own. Ragini and Laksh also followed them laughing at Sanskar's situation.
