31. A chair for two

Riya Saxena: Swara's best friend. She was only five when her parents shifted to New York. She was basically from Rajasthan. Few years later, when Swara's family shifted to Newyork. They lived in neighbourhood. They met and get along with each other. Swara and Riya were of same age and they became best friends. With passing years, their bond got stronger.

After years, when Swara was shifting back to India along with her parents, Riya was sad but her parents were already thinking to go back to India for so long. And, they thought it was the time. When Riya came to know it. She was really happy. So, was Swara. Her father Subhash Saxena, was also a businessman. He decided to shift the branch office to Kolkata. Shekhar helped him with it.
The establishment of branch in kolkata and other things related to business took time. So, Swara's family came back earlier. Then Riya's family came after two month when everything was settled.

When Riya was coming, she informed Swara but they were going to Darjeeling. So, Swara asked her to join her there. Riya was so excited as she never visited that place. After landing to Kolkata, she informed her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Saxena couldn't join as they had certain things to look out. House, office etc. But they agreed for Riya to let her enjoy as they trusted Shomi and Shekhar. Then Riya booked her next flight to Darjeeling and now she was here.

Arav fell back on couch in relief and he took the water bottle that was kept on the table and gulped it. Then he took a deep breathe while other laughed at him.

"By the way, as Swara already introduced me. You know my name. Swara called me here. So, I just rushed here in excitement to meet her and I have never visited Darjeeling either. I hope you don't mind me being here." Riya said smilingly.

"Swara bhabhi, you never said you have such a cool friend. You are most welcome Riya di. You are elder to me. So, I can call you di right?" Uttara said with smile.

"Ofcourse Uttara." Riya said.

"You are Swara's best friend. So, don't be formal. We are happy that you joined us." Sanskar said with smile.

"Thank you Sanskar. By the way, nice choice Swara." Riya said with teasing smile.

Swara's eyes widen. Sanskar smiled and shook hand with Riya.

Then she greeted Ragini and Laksh who also responded to her politely.

"By the way, your entry was actually blasting. Look at him, poor man still is in the haze." Laksh said and laughed at Arav, who was now trying to relax.

"Hello Mr. Flirty, it's ok, Relax now. Actually, I came to know from Swara that you are very good prankster and have teasing skills. So, I thought to show some skills of mine." Riya said with chuckle.

"Oh god!! You literally have me heart attack in few minutes. Bhabhijaan, if you were so tired of my teasing you could have asked me to stop. You used your secret weapon on me. That's not fair." Arav said acting innocent while other laughs.

"Sorry Arav, but she is like that only." Swara chuckled.

"Serves you right, buddy." Laksh said grinning at him.

"Anyways, Riya you should get fresh n up and rest. You must be tired due to journey." Swara said.

"No yaar, I am fine. But yeah, I need to fresh n up. Then I will meet uncle and Aunty and others." Riya chuckled.

Swara nodded.

"Come Riya, I will take you to my room. We are sharing it." Swara said.

"Yeah, that's ok. I will.." Riya was saying when Arav said.

"Bhabhijaan, you don't worry. I will just call manager and he will give you keys of another room beside you. " Arav said genuinely.

"No Arav, it's fine. I will share my room with Riya. There's no problem." Swara said not wanting to create any problem. Riya also nodded agreeing with her.
