35. A never ending thought

Next morning,

The room slowly filled with light as sun peeps from the valley. The curtains were half blown. Turning around in her sleep, she hugged the comforter to seek warmth when her rays of lights hits her eyes softly. She frowned in her sleep and her eyebrows furrowed. She squeezed her eyes and pull the comforter to cover her face. A couple of minutes later, the comforter slipped and sun rays fell on her face yet again. She shook her head and opened her eyes before slowly blinking and looking around. She saw the sun was already up. Then her eyes caught the wall clock and she was shocked to see it was 7: 45 a.m.

"Oh no!!" She hurriedly sat up in shock and wide eyes.

But then only she felt a sharp pain in her head and squeezed her eyes yet again.

"Uhhh, my head is bursting, oh god." she muttered painfully holding her head in both hands.

"Uh.. what happened? How did I come here? I was in pub last I remember, and how did I sleep so long." The first thought crossed her mind. Then she looked at herself. She was still in last night dress.

She rubbed her forehead closing her eyes when she got a few flashes of last night. Starting from drinking Vodka in place of water, then she was going to Riya, then Sanskar's coming, coming back to resort, Sanskar's supporting her, her blabbering and then a almost kiss.

"Oh no!! What he must be thinking about me? How could I do all that?" Swara muttered to herself.

She bite her lower lips nervously thinking about Sanskar's reaction. Did he tell anyone? She unknowingly created problems for him last night. He won't judge her due to last night, right? No, he won't as much she knows him. But... Oh god, she was drunk last night. Yeah,.. by mistake but...

Her chain of thoughts broke by the knock on door.

"Who's it? Is there something wrong?" Unknowingly a negative thoughts raised up due to recent flashes of last night.

The door was knocked again.

"Swara Ma'am, are you up?" She heard a female voice. Must be a staff, she thought.

She ruffled her hair lightly and got up from the bed. Then she went to open the door.

Opening the door, she found a girl who was about to go as Swara didn't say anything a couple of times. Then hearing the door opening voice, she turned around. She was a room attendant.

"Good morning ma'am." She greeted Swara.

"Good morning." Swara said slowly somehow trying to avoid headache. She was confused to find her here early morning itself. She usually comes to clean the room by 10. But before she could ask, the girl answered her unasked question.

"Sorry to disturb you ma'am but I was told to give you this as soon as you wake up." The girl said with professional smile.

Then Swara's eyes caught the tray she was holding with a glass of lemonade and some tablet. The girl came inside and placed the tray on the table.

"Please have it Ma'am, you will feel better. Have a nice day." The room attendant said with soft smile.

Saying this, she was about to go out of room when Swara stopped her and asked.

"Wait, who sent it?" Swara asked confusingly.

"Sorry Ma'am, but I was told you will know." The girl said and left the room giving a smile to Swara.

While Swara was still confused. She saw the tray on the table then realised something. The person who can do it, Sanskar. Her heart skipped a beat and a small smile appeared on her lips.
