64. A False Report

Morning,
Everyone came to visit Swara. Shekhar and Shomi also came to know about Swara being pregnant and they were so happy. Sujatha came with her breakfast and made her eat. Sanskar and Laksh went back to maheshwari mansion after insistence from everyone as they were here for Swara now. Swara also agreed with them and they had to go. Riya came with Arav and they congratulated her. Swara asked Riya to go and rest as she was having morning sickness. Riya opposed saying she is better now but Swara nodded at Arav who understood her and take Riya back to home. Everyone has meet her except Ragini as she has to take care of Rakshit. Finally, in afternoon when Uttara came back with Annapurna. She asked them to take care of Rakshit and she went to hospital along with Laksh and Sanskar.
Ragini was so happy for Swara but at the same time, she was angry with the false report that Swara received previously. Her latest report has came and it was clearly written that she is two months pregnant. How can they be so irresponsible.

She said, she will go and talk to doctor as Sanskar was with Swara. Although , Sanskar said he will see to it but Ragini said she will handle it. Laksh also accompanied her.

Doctor's cabin:

"Will you care to explain this, Dr. Amita? How can this hospital be so irresponsible?" Ragini asked angrily as she showed both reports to Dr. Anita.

Dr. Amita sees both reports and she was confused.

"When Swara came here around one and half months back she was told she is infertile and now she is told that she is two months pregnant. Is this some kind of joke? You are making fun of a patient's life?" Ragini said angrily.

"Mrs. Ragini, this report was not given by me. I see the date mentioned in her report.  I was gone to Delhi for some case that time. Infact, I came back last week only. Still, I understand it was Irresponsible behaviour. Just give me a minute, I will call the doctor and assistant who made this report." Dr. Amita said looking at the report.

Ragini nodded while Laksh was sitting there with serious expression.

After five minutes,

"Dr. Sania, did you make this report? You have mentioned that Mrs. Swara has negligible chances to conceive and this is her latest report. Will you care to explain this?" Dr. Amita asked angrily.

Dr. Sania looked at the reports and gulped in fear as if she already knew about it. She looked at the girl standing at her side. She was also having fearful expression.

"Why are you looking at Tina,  Dr. Sania? I asked you something? If a woman couldn't conceive one and half months back then how come she is more than two months pregnant today? What is it!!" Dr. Anita said sternly.

"Ma'am, it.. it might be a co-incidence." Dr. Sania said foolishly.

"What? Are you hearing yourself Sania? You are a Doctor. Don't give any stupid answer here!!" Dr. Amita said in same tone.

Sania and Tina stayed silent in fear.

"What the hell have you done? Can you explain!! Are you speaking or should I take any action against you for making false report?" Dr. Amita said.

"No.. no ma'am. Sorry actually it was done by mistake." Tina immediately said being scared.

"What do you mean?" Ragini asked this time.

"Ma'am, when Mrs. Swara came for her check-up. On the same date, there was another lady came for her check up and her name was Saira Singh. Due to similar names, the reports got mixed up. It was Saira Singh's report that Mrs. Swara was given and vice versa." Tina said in feeble voice.

Dr. Amita was head of department and highly experienced. She was very strict with her profession and can't tolerate minor mistake when it comes to patients life. She understands that patient trust doctor and it's their duty to do the best they can do to save their lives. Everyone knew about it. Dr. Sania and Tina both were really scared as their mistake was caught by her and now what she will do to them.
