March twenty eight arrived, a new weekend and there was a lot of chatter and excitement in the air. Tana had arrived at the meeting point not too long ago and found Thomas, who was full of smiles and grins and greeting everyone. He was a natural charmer and he knew most of those that had agreed to come along. Looking around, Tana saw Chelsea, Sophia and her fiancé Ryder, Steph, Beth and her partner Ben, Claudia and Jerry, Clair, Jason, Dillan, Ricky and Daniel already there. They were all chatting and seemed to be getting along well. Trish could not come, to no surprise, neither could Hugo or Turdy and it seemed to Tana that Clark was not there yet.
Thomas caught sight of her and like he was an excited puppy he rushed over, wrapping his arms around Tana and lifting her up and swinging her around. He was laughing and she was asking him to put her down. Thomas was like a hyper child and just seemed to want to mess around, yet it was a bit embarrassing.
"You have selected a great bunch of people!" Thomas told her.
"But still, are you sure you do not have your own friends you would rather join us?" Tana asked.
"Your friends are my friends little lady!" Thomas grinned.
"If Clark not here yet?" Tana asked looking around.
"That geek likely will arrive at the last minute.... Which should be right about now." Thomas said.He was looking at a watch and true to his words, they saw a car enter the parking and pull up near them all. Thomas moved closer and it seemed he too knew James as he greeted Clark's driver with a wave and smile before offering to help take Clarks bags and put them on the trolly's that everyone else were on. Tana thought that she should get her bag as well and put it with the rest. As she moved to the boot of her vehicle, that she would be leaving there for the time they were away, Tana felt somebody next to her.
Looking over she smiled when she saw that it was Jason. It seemed he had come over to help her. Unlike most people, Tana only had one bag of items. She did not need two cases or more like other people, but that was because she was not picky about what she would wear during the time on holiday. Jason commented on how little she had bought and they shared a small joke. Tana was glad, that everyone could be relaxed.
"ALRIGHT!" Thomas called with a clap of hands. "I just wanted to firstly say a huge thanks for agree to join me for the next week and such. I know Tana sent the invites out, and personally.... I do not have a lot of friends, so I am very grateful you are all willing to come."
"It is not a soapy Thomas." Clark spoke in a stern tone.
"You are too boring Geekhead." Thomas teased. "Anyway! Some quick details. I was offered a great chance to experience the first trip of a new cruise company, based here in our own state. It leaves from Port Adelaide and will travel around the West coat up to Bali. We stay there for a couple of nights and then cruse it home again. I was offered this chance to invite people along to experience and at the end, we are all asked to leave reviews, suggestions and such before the official start up Mid this Year."
"So lucky to be offered such an experience." Clair stated.
"Stick with me babe, and you'll get a chance to experience a lot of fun cool things." Thomas joked.
"I hope you are not including yourself in that." Dillan teased him.The group all had a laugh at the two of them and then once settled, Thomas directed everyone towards the boarding ramp. Jason and Ryder took charge on pushing the trollies of language along with them. As they walked, Tana noticed that Chelsea made a point of slowing down and walking along next to her.
"So... the Boss actually came." She said with a raised brow.
"I am surprised too." Tana said with a nod.
"Thomas seems pretty... chilled with Clark." She stated.
"Turns out... they are related." Tana said with a sigh.
"Really... how long have you known that?" Chelsea asked surprised.
"Not long at all. I walked into Clark's office and saw Thomas in there. Found out then." She said.
"I think you need to ask Thomas about his little games." Chelsea said.
"Games?" Tana asked confused.
"Why had he not mentioned it sooner?" she wondered.
