Hello, hello!
So, if any of you all keep track of Warrior Cats content creators on YouTube, you may have already seen Northflower's video that she recently posted, and it's FANTASTIC! She put excerpts of Into the Wild into Google Translate, and my goodness, I think I actually gained an extra layer of muscle from how much I was laughing at it.
I was INSPIRED. So, I thought that it would be fun to take some of my favorite scenes from my fanfiction series and put them into Google Translate... so I DID. And I'm... happy? with? the? outcome?
So, Google Translate - changing the text from English, to Shona, to English, to Shona, to English again - it... well...
It literally made my Warrior Cats fanfiction PG-13, let's put it that way.
So with that being said, I think this is the first time that I'm having to say this in my books aside from my Starkit's Prophecy Review - *READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED*. I mean, technically it's only a bit PG-13 if you MAKE it PG-13... so... it really just depends on your mind.
But it's mainly because there is a certain word that for some reason the language of Shona thinks is the same as "tail" when you switch it from English to Shona, and then back to English... a certain "d" word... So, I cut out those pieces! I ain't comfortable having certain words on my profile!
Anyway, I wasn't sure which book I wanted to put these excerpts in, so I figured I'd just put them in my Warrior Cats Spoofs book, because they just HAVE to be seen!
And by the way, if you haven't read my fanfiction series, I also give you a *SPOILER WARNING*!
Well... I think I give you a spoiler warning. Honestly, I don't think these would give anything away - that's how wacky they turned out to be.
Enjoy! No joke, this is EXACTLY what came out of the translator:
Shifting Shadows – Lilypetal and Thornclaw's Argument
(Thornclaw speaking) "Well ... you're right, I had something I was hiding. It was stupid to hide this for a long time, I'm sorry," he began, not letting his eyes look like his eyes all of a sudden. shining with grief. "I can no longer put this in. You're one of mine, and you're important to me, you have no idea. So, you should know ..."
I held my breath. Here we go again ...
"I was studying in the Dark Forest," Thornclaw said.
My mouth seemed to drop all over the world.
And I thought that knowing that my father was a young murderer made me think.
I knew Rima Sango (have NO idea what this is) was now - the opposite of StarClan; The Place of the Stars; the place where cats attacked military code without any remorse went to those who died - cats like Tigerstar, Thistleclaw, Darkstripe ...
I did not know until this moment that the spirits of the Dark Sango were calling the living cats to train with them, thanks to Thornclaw, but it would not take me long to realize that any cat that thought their intentions was good, was a cat bitten by a cat.
But can I say this word to Thornclaw? No, as I wished. And as much as I wanted to press him and interview him - ask him what he might be thinking - I told myself several times in my head to calm down. If Thornclaw had a reasonable explanation for this, I would have found it. And stick to StarClan for something...
But what frightened me with this word, the only voice that escaped my jaw was, "... What?"
My meow had not yet passed, but Thornclaw's eyes shone with fear and awe as if I had rebuked him. "Do you hear me?" he muttered, his tail grinning.
