Hi bubs!

I wanted to talk about chapter 16 real quick, and spread some awareness.

⚠️WARNING: Talking about rape and actions similar to that⚠️ (yes I know these things happen to men as well but I'm going to be talking about women in this, so sorry)

Sexual assault, catcalling, saying someone was "asking for it" or anything like that is absolutely disgusting and not okay. Although I added it in for plot line purposes, I regret not adding in more thoughts about things like these.

Men who do anything like this to woman are absolutely disgusting and I have no fucking respect for them. It is disgusting to think that women wear certain clothes to be raped, it is disgusting to call them out for it as well. Women wear clothes to be confident. To feel pretty, to feel cute, to feel beautiful, yet they are still judged, and called out for it. It's not okay, and it's not acceptable whatsoever.

It truly saddens me to see how many precautions women have to take due to some men being fucking dumbasses and not being able to shut up or keep their pants zipped up. Personally, my worst fear is being taken advantage of by a man. I am a young girl and THAT is my worst fear. Not drowning, not being burned alive, not even death, but that. Truly disgusting.

So sorry for my rant but I really wanted to say something about it! I love you all so much, please stay safe<3

The next 2 weeks of winter break fly by quickly, though I didn't realize this until I was standing in front of the Hogwarts Express, about to go back to school.

I enjoyed going back home, specifically to see my father, though getting away from all the drama was nice as well.

I hadn't thought much about the drama over break, nor how to resolve it. Or if I was going to resolve it, really. It wasn't my issue to apologize for, so I wasn't going to. Instead, I'm going to stay as far away as possible from Draco, until he can earn my respect and trust back, which in this moment, seemed impossible.

As my eyes glance around the train station, a grin grows upon my face once I spot Pansy.

We had given each other gifts for Christmas, and occasionally sent letters over the break, but other than that, I hadn't seen her since our last day.

Before I know it, she crushes me in a giant hug, her scent lingering through my senses.

Her arms only grow tighter around me, making it difficult to breathe.

"Goodness Pans-" I gasp, laughing lightly at her grip.

"Sorry," she laughs breathlessly, letting me go and grinning at me.

"One moment, I need to say goodbye to my father." I grin back at her, glancing at my father.

She nods, her eyes glancing back at him as well, and politely smiling.

"Ok! Meet me in our usual compartment." She says excitedly, picking up her trunk and making her way to the train.

My grin slightly fades as I realize what I have to do- say goodbye.

It always crushed me to say goodbye to people or things, as I get attached easily. Though, it was even harder to say goodbye to someone who I knew would be much happier if I were there. To someone who's already lost so much, and I can't be there to help them.
