Hi bubs! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days! I was planning on posting yesterday but the night before(when I was going to write) I threw up and didn't feel great so I couldn't sadly.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!:))
Summer has been a break I very much needed. It was beyond amazing to be able to spend time with my father while not worrying about a certain boy.
Ever since I confronted Draco about how I actually felt, something seemed to have changed within me. I felt as though I could finally move on, and live my life as I wanted to.
I didn't care anymore that I never got the apology I deserved. I didn't care that he wasn't in my life anymore. It annoyingly took me awhile to realize, but why have a person who only makes your life worse, be in it at all?
Daphne and I had sent a few letters to each other, explaining everything and apologizing for the unnecessary tension. I felt as though I truly had my friend back, and it was wonderful.
"Ready to go?" My father asks, as I stuff a few more things in my bag.
I was now preparing to go over to Pansy's house for a sleepover with her and Daphne. The three of us hadn't seen each other since school ended, about a month ago, and I missed them more than I would've liked to.
"I think so!" I reply happily, as my eyes skim over the list I made for myself of things to bring.
I throw my bag over my shoulder, before stepping out of my room and heading over to the fireplace.
"See you soon," I smile at my father, before picking up some floo powder and stepping into the fireplace. "Parkinson Manor!" I yell as I throw the powder beneath me.
Before I know it, I land in another fireplace. Pansy's house was not new to me at all, though. I had been coming here since first year, and new it almost as well as my own house.
I dust myself off slightly, before stepping out of the fireplace and looking around.
"I'm coming! I'm coming! I'm cominggg!" I hear Pansy yell excitedly from the stairs, as she sprints down them.
"Are you coming?" I joke, grinning at her.
She rolls her eyes, though laughs along before crushing me in a hug.
"You are never allowed to go a month without seeing me again!" She states, practically squeezing the air out of my lungs.
"If you insisttt," I grin, hugging her back.
Once she finally lets me go, I look around slightly, expecting to see Daphne somewhere.
"She's not here yet," Pansy smiles weakly, knowing exactly what I was looking for.
"Oh," I laugh quietly.
"C'mon, we can go put your stuff down." She says, walking towards her room.
I nod in agreement, before following her up the stairs.
Once we get to her room, I drop my bag on the ground and smile as I look around the room. Pansy had many pictures of friends on one of her walls, including some of me when I was younger. I always liked looking at the pictures, especially because they brought back so many memories.
"So... how's everything with Daph?" Pansy asks awkwardly, biting her bottom lip gently.
"It's good, actually. We've talked to each other about everything," I smile, feeling relieved that it wasn't a lie.
"Good! So she doesn't like Malfoy anymore?" She asks, sitting down on her bed.
"No no- I'm almost sure she does," I laugh, sitting beside Pansy on her bed.
She scrunches her nose up in disgust, and rolls her eyes. I laugh at her reaction, surprised at how unbothered I seem to be by the fact Daphne still likes him.
"Pansy!? Y/n!?" I hear a voice call from downstairs.
I immediately smile, and feel a spark of excitement go throughout me as we run quickly down the stairs.
"Daphne!" I yell before we all hug, laughs escaping
our mouths."I've missed you guys!" She says, once our group hug ends.
"I second that," Pansy laughs, as we all grin at each other.

- - - - - -The next 45 minutes or so are filled with us in Pansy's room, talking about everything and nothing. I missed talking to them more then I realized I did.
"I can't believe we're going into our fourth year already," Pansy says, shaking her head slowly.
I nod in agreement instantly, as I was thinking the same thing.
"Yeah," Daphne laughs awkwardly. "About that... we need to talk."
Pansy and I furrow our brows in confusion, as we wait for Daphne to say what she has to say.
"I'm moving... in two weeks."
My heart drops to my stomach at her words, and my whole body freezes. I had finally gotten my friend back and now she was leaving?
"Wh- but- why?" I stutter, my thoughts in denial.
"Well.. my dad found a new woman he.. likes," she sighs. "But she's really picky about schools, and she hates Hogwarts, so... she's making me and Astoria move schools."
It's like a punch in the gut, hearing those words. I don't even care if that means no more Draco and her flirting, I just wanted my friend back. The friend I'd known for so long. The friend that was always there for me. If we didn't have Daphne, we didn't have the trio.
My eyes tear up slightly, though I stare at the ground to try and stop myself from crying. Pansy pulls all of us into a group hug, and my heart almost breaks from feeling Daphne shaking from crying.
I loved these girls more than they know.

idk kinda sad chapter😟 ik y'all are probably still mad at Daphne and that's totally fine but when my friend (who I'm portraying as Daphne) moved, I was absolutely broken by it, even if she did have a crush on the guy.
Also just wanted to say that I apologize if I take random small breaks. I've been going through some slight health issues with my stomach (which I have been for almost a year) and it affects my emotional and mental health sometimes as well:)
I really really love you guys though and I hope you have a wonderful day/night mwahhh:))
