I could physically hear my head pounding harshly when I wake up the next morning. It's almost painful to open my eyes and see the small amount of light shining through the dorm window.

My first hangover. Lovely.

Pansy groggily gets out of bed across from me, letting out tired and annoyed groans after each movement she makes.

I slowly sit up in my bed, rubbing my eyes as I try to process what happened last night.

"Merlin, I feel awful." I mumble as I throw my legs over to the side of my bed, trying to find some sort of motivation to stand up.

"The boys-" Pansy begins though is interrupted by a yawn leaving her mouth. "The boys have a potion for hangovers. We've just gotta get ready and then go get them,"

I nod slowly, my eyes shut tightly as I try to ignore the awful feeling growing in my stomach.

I feel half asleep as I finally stand up and begin getting ready for the day. It was stupid that the party wasn't on a Friday. Who wants to go to school feeling like this?

It's about an hour later when Pansy and I are finally done getting ready. I struggled with getting my tie on, though that was probably just because I was practically refusing to open my eyes the whole time.

We lazily walk to the common room together, our only motivation being the idea of a potion to get this incredibly horrible feeling away. I suppose it wasn't a great idea to drink that much my first time having alcohol.

The boys (Draco, Theo, and Blaise) are all sitting on a couch in the common room once we get there. They all look normal, though something about the blonde's shirt seems almost... tighter than it was last year.

My eyes are still barely open as Pansy pulls my arm to walk in front of them. I fight to open my eyes more, and thats when I meet the grey eyes I had seen only a few hours ago.

Shit.

Only a few hours ago... in the astronomy tower.

The memory flashes through my brain, causing my body to stiffen slightly as he continues to look at me. 

I remember exactly what I did, what I said, and why I did it.

It was that stupid kiss. That stupid kiss he gave that girl that triggered my jealousy and need for him. It just didn't make sense why he was kissing someone else. So I teased him. I went up to the astronomy tower and essentially made him fall back in love with me.

It wasn't chasing, it was attracting. Winning, if you will.

The hangover potion helps immediately, making it much easier to continue on with the school day.

Although I don't have my Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Harry, the story of what happened spreads around the school very quickly. Apparently the bratty new pink professor gave him detention for saying the truth about Cedric.

I wasn't sure what the "truth" about Cedric was that everyone was saying Harry told her about. I thought it was pretty obvious how he died...
