At this point Matthew had a gun in his left hand. "Look Matthew, we need you here man. Put the gun down." Cody whispered in a calm voice. "No! Don't.. Don't you even say that! I watched most of my family die and some I don't even know where they are! Your family is here, safe, while mine are roaming the streets dead!" He yelled.
He must of been yelling pretty loud because the creatures were right at the door again. "I understand but this isn't what you want. Emalea is here. She'll remember you soon just give it time!" Cody yelled. Matthew was weeping softly. Jason came in from the gym doors silently. He snuck up behind Matthew and tried to take the gun. "No!" Matthew yelled. He pointed the gun at Jason. A few people pointed a gun at him.
Jason rose his arms up in fear. His eyes dead on Cody. "Did.. Did you just try and take the gun from me?" He said with a chuckle. "Oh. You'll pay for this Jason.. You'll pay." He grinned. "Stop." I whispered. "Stop!" I then yelled. I walked to Matthew and grabbed his hand and planted the gun on my forehead. "If your going to kill anybody let it be me. I can't remember anything so I won't hurt me a bit." I said without shaking. "Go on Matthew. Pull the trigger. Only two seconds. I won't feel a thing." He lowered the gun and dropped to his knees. I grabbed the gun and slid it to Cody. I hugged Matthew and whispered to him that everything was going to be fine.
After this madness was over, everybody was normal again. We had lunch and people cleared the creatures outside. We had some chicken for lunch this time. "I thought I'd never taste this again!" Somebody yelled across the room. I didn't eat much. Sophia looked at me and whispered "You should eat you know. You'll feel a lot better." I got up and went to the bathroom to find myself vomiting. Scarlett came up behind me without me knowing. She patted my back. "Look how much has happened in only 2 days." I said while wiping my mouth off. "I know. Its a lot. Think though. There could be worse." Worse? I didn't want to see what worse was if it could get any worse.
The girls did laundry manually while the boys made sure the place was secure. Not many people talked that day. Only silence in the halls besides the noise of the creatures. It was already 7:43 pm by the time we got done. "There's snacks in the lunch room if you get hungry." Cody said. "Hey Emalea, you feeling okay? You're," she stopped. "Pale." Savannah said. "I haven't really eaten. I'll go get a snack I'll be back." I said. I got to the lunch room to find granola bars and some small cakes. I ate some of each. Soon after Scarlett an Savannah came in. They decided to get some to. It was around 11:25 pm before I finally went to sleep. What a day I thought before I dozed off.
