Savannah woke up early like she always did. She was always they first awake and the last asleep, most of the time. Sophia was curled into a ball trying not to freeze. Savannah saw that her blanket was off so she went to fix it. "Yeah, i'll make sure. Thanks Gracie." Cody said walking into the gym. "Up early again? Do you ever sleep wome?" Cody said laughing. Savannsh laughed and walked into the lunch room. She didn't think breakfest was done and wasn't really hungry, she wanted to see if she could help with breakfest or anything else they needed.
Sophia and Scarlett were awake now. They were talking about the people there until they got interupted by Cody yelling breakfest was done. They got their food and sat down. "Where the hell is Emalea guys? She wasn't in her spot and now she isn't at breakfest?" Scarlett said. "Yeah I was wondering the same thing, I didn't see her since we were in the music room." Sophia said. "We'll search the rooms once we are done. I'm sure she is fine." Cody said.
After they got done they all spread out. Cody came apon a room with the door half way open, there was a cold breeze. He walked in and found the place kind of messy and seen some paper with some black on it. He walked over to it and picked it up.
"To who finds this, I've gone mad and left through the window. Do not come and find me,Im only doing this to protect you all. Stay safe."
Cody looked up from the note and shock his head. "This isn't Emalea." He whispered. "She wouldn't do this." He finished. He ran back to the other and waited for them all to regroup. Once they were all together in the lunch room where nobody was around, he pulled the note out and laid it on the table. They all read I one by one.
"This doesn't seem right. She would've told us first or told us she was feeling different." Scarlett said. "That's what I was saying." Cody said. "What do we do about this?" Sophia asked. Nobody answered her. Nobody knew where to look or what to do. "We can't just sit here. What if Cole and Jason are in trouble to?" Savannah said. "Their fine. We know where they are or at least which why they are going. As they left they ran into Jessie. He seemed a bit stiffed up.
"Hey Jessie. Haven't seen you in-" Cody got cut off by Jessie rasing his hand. "Don't." He said and kept walk. "Okay, I don't know that guy but he seems like a real dick don't you think?" Scarlett said. "I don't know. He was so caring but when I found you guys he changed." Cody said without turning around.
They kept walking until they got into the gym. Had they really talked so long that it was already dark? "Wow, today went by short." Savannah said. They all agreed. They laid down but for some reason
Sophia was having trouble going to sleep. She was always able to sleep any other night without a problem. What about today? How come she couldn't sleep that night. She got up and walked to the bathroom to splash some water on her face. Through the double doors and she walked into the bathroom. It smelled foul. She did what she came in there for an noticed some feet in the stall next to her. She walked over quietly and knocked on it. "Ma'am, are you okay? You're being quiet and I wan- AHHHH" She yelled and it woke most of the people. Savannah and Scarlett ran the direction that the scream came from. Scarlett slamed open the door and saw Sophia on the ground and a creature grabbed at her foot. She was yelling louder now. The thing was so close to eating her. She stood there and stared, her heart was pounding. This was the first creature she seen that was about to eat somebody she knew.
Savannah ran over to her and kicked a few times until it let go. Scarlett ran and grabbed Sophia, pulling her towards the door. Sophia was crying and holding Scarlett tightly now. "It-it-it.." Sophia stuttered. "Shh, it's okay now. It's over. Nobody or anything is going to hurt you now, it's okay." Scarlett said stroking her hair, soft she thought. Cody deposed of the body and everybody tried to go back to sleep, this time Sophia was sleeping with Scarlett. They slowly fell asleep. That moment played over and over again in their heads. How did one get in? How did nobody notice. Was it somebody they knew?
