"I was just scared!" Nathan yelled. "Shhh." Beau said putting his finger over his mouth. "Don't yell, they can hear us from miles." Beau finished removing his hand. "How did you even get down there?" I asked. "Well I was walking.. Well running so you wouldn't find me and I didn't notice it. I fell down and heard those creatures down there so I started to climb up the dirt wall. There just so happened to be a small part that I could stand on." He explained. I looked up at Beau to see his eyes get a little wide. I looked past Nathan to see what he was looking at. About ten zombies were on the other side of Nathan. "Come on," he said putting his hands on mine and Nathan's shoulder. He turned us around facing the way we came in. "I'm not going to let us die today. We can talk about this in the school." He finished. "No." Nathan said without hesitation. "No?" I questioned. I saw the creatures getting closer. They were slow, but they could run at us anytime the wanted. "I'm not going back to just get throwing d out or maybe even worse!" He yelled. "We're not going to let that happen! We will be the only people to know." Beau said. Nathan sat in silence for a moment. "Okay, leave him." Beau said lightly brushing my arm. "Beau!" I yelled. "I'm not letting us die because of him." He said pointing at Nathan. Nathan put his head down and started to walk. He walked slow. I could see the creatures getting closer and closer by the moment. He passed us. "Harsh." Nathan said looking back at Beau.
We finally got back to the school some how getting away from the creatures. "Go in and find a classroom for us. Try not to draw attention." Beau said. I nodded. I walked in trying to look as normal as possible. I walked out of the gym and into the hall. "Heres one." I whispered to myself. I opened the door and looked in. To my right was the light switch. "I wonder how we still have electricity." I whispered to myself again. I turned the lights on and turned around to go get the others. I turned to my left and ran into Beau. "I'm sorry.." I said looking down. Good job Emalea. "It's my fault. I figured you had one by now." He said. I took him to the room and me and Nathan moved the desk faceting each other. It was a small circle. "How did you know?" I asked. "Don't be mad, okay?" He said tapping the desk. "I won't." I replied. "I knew Cody before this stuff. I knew this school because he took me here one time. This was his elementary school obviously. Emalea you went here for sixth grade." He paused. His hands was shaking. "I knew he had to be here. That day with Matthew was the day I came and stalked a bit. I didn't tell John who was here or where the school was. I don't even think he knows it's a school." He stopped. "John?" Beau asked. "He's the boss or leader of my camp. Well my old camp." Nathan replied. "Was John the one who kidnapped me?" I asked. "No, me and Destiney were the ones who found you. We were on a run. Me and here went on runs at least once a week." He finished. "So who ever kidnapped me just ended up leaving me to die. Why would they do that?" I said. "Maybe they thought you were somebody else and once they found out you weren't them the just left you." Beau said. "It could've been a possibility." Nathan said. "Why would John be so aggressive towards me though?" I asked. "The way you were dressed and you looked healthy. He knew you had to come from some kind of camp." Nathan said. "We should head back to Cody and tell him we are okay." Beau said. "So I'm okay?" Nathan asked. "Yeah, we trust you. Sorry I was so mean back there. I just wasn't in the mood to die today." Beau said getting and and walking to the door. "I don't think anybody would be in the mood to die." I said getting up. He chuckled and walked out. Nathan was still sitting down just looking at the desk. "You coming?" I asked. "Just give me a minute." He said. He didn't speak to loud. I walked out towards the lunch room. The lunch room seemed like a place we could seem like a family. It was nice.
