I woke up in the bleachers still, someone had put a blanket over me and a pillow under my head. The pillow helped, but my neck still hurt a bit. I looked around and saw Hope and Chas were gone but Scarlett and them were still asleep. I smiled and got up. "Did you sleep well on those bleachers? I tried to make it a bit more comfortable for you. You seemed like you were having a nice dream, I didn't want to wake you." Cody said. I smiled. "Thanks". As I walked to the lunch room, I passed Jessie. I felt his eyes gaze on me. "It would be nice if you talked to me a bit more. I am not going to hurt you." He said as I passed. I stopped and turned around. "Oh, uh.. I'm sorry. I just.." I got cut off. He rose his hand. "I understand, shy right? I am like that, we knew each other pretty well. We are having target practice later, you want to see if you and your friends would like to come?" He said. I nodded my head and went on. 'Why am I like this?' I thought to myself. The lunch room was silent, which wasn't normal. I slowly went in and only seen four people at a table. Gracie, Beau, and two other people I had never seen before. I wasn't trying to get into their business, but I was curious. I listened but didn't get much. "Yeah, we'll go out tonight. Inform Cody." Beau said. "I'll make sure to do that." A voice said. I walked away and ran into Cody again. He smiled and went on. I walked back to the Gym and now Savannah was awake playing with Scarletts hair while she slept. I laughed and walked towards her trying not to make a noise. I tackled her. "Ahh..!" She yelled. "Haha, scared much?" I said while laughing. She smacked me and yelled my name while laughing. "Wait, Emalea!" She said turning around. "Oh my god where have you been! We were so worried! Everybo-" I cut her off. "I'm fine. Now, don't wake Scarlett up." I said pointing towards her. It was still real early in the morning, the sun was just coming up. As I got up to pick my blankets up, I hear beating and a faint yell come from the doors. I rush to it and see Cole and Jason there. I let them in.
After everybody was settled and everybody was like themselfs again, nothing had happened for the most part. We all went to the lunch room and sat down. "Okay, so like... Where were you?" Scarlett asked looking at me. "I wish I could answer that." I said. "What do you mean?" Cole asked. "Well, you see I got knocked here. I don't know who did it, or how they did it, but they did." I replied. "Who is 'they'?" Sophia asked. "I think it was this guy named John or at least one of his members." I said. I pointed towards Hope and Chas, they were getting a tour from Cody. "They come from there to. I-" I got cut off. "You mean you just let them come with you like it was nothing? How can you trust them?" Cole said putting his fork down. "They hated the guy who was their leader or whatever. They even snuck me food and ammo. How could I not? Plus, people would be here now... Wouldn't they?" I asked. "No, they would've searched by now." Savannah said. We all got up and put the plates on the rack and went into the gym and talked for two hours about useless things. Hope and Chas joined us during this. As we all walked off Cole came towards me. "Yeah, you were right. They're funny and seem trust worthy. The red head girl though, Chasity? She seems.. Shy you know?" He said. "Yeah, but I understand. I trust her though and Cody and Jessie know them well." I replied. We went to go get out blankets Gracie washed for us and headed back to the gym. "This day went by fast." I heard behind me. It was a boys voice. Beau probably. I laid the blanket down and then the pillow. The lights went out and I still heard people whispering and laughing with each other. Jessie was standing by the door with a machete in his right hand. The light from the moon casted a shadow on him to where I couldn't see his body, only the outline of it. He was mysterious I thought. He was over all nice to me though. "Shit... That target practice!" I said under my breathe. I had totally forgotten about that. I jumped up and walked towards Jessie. "Jessie?' I said while opening the doors. "Hm?" He said turning around. "Oh hey Emalea." He said he seemed more joyful then I had expected. "Yeah, sorry I didn't come to target practice today. I got caught up with Scarlett and them." I said trying not to make eye contact. "Oh no its fine. I decided to do it tomorrow anyways, I wasn't feeling good." He said with a grin. "Oh, I'm sorry.. Are you feeling better now?" I replied. "Mhm. I feel way better. Anyways, you better get some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He said. "Okay." I replied with a smile. I went back and laid down. It was more silent then before.
I could not sleep for anything again. I kept thinking about John and if people were going to come and hurt us. Did I put my friends life in danger? What was I supposed to do now? As I thought more and more, I doze off into a peaceful sleep. Although it was pretty uncomfortable on those bleachers, I didn't mind it.
