Before this starts, this is based in the middle of the night after Emalea is asleep and Matthew is already dead.

It had already been an hour after his death. I'd been staring at him in disbelief the whole time. I knew he was going to die I just didn't want to believe it. His hand was so cold and his face was pale. His hair was matted up from the blood that poured out. He was very interesting to look at. He is dead and yet I still smile at the sight of him.
My eyes were burning from crying so long. I wanted to stop, but I couldn't. Memories flew through my head. Memories nobody else knew but me and him. I grabbed his hand harder and harder with every memory I thought of.
I heard footsteps from behind. I was to focused. From my left side, I could see a hand slowly come down in the dead silence. They laid a half drunk bottle of water down. I looked up to notice it was Jessie.
"Why are you wasting this water?" I said sniffling. "It's not wasting if you drink it. If you refuse to drink it then I'll just have to shove it down your throat." he replied with a chuckle. I smiled at him. Well, I mean I better drink it. I was thirsty anyways. I picked it up and started to drink it slowly. Mainly to not make a loud gulping noise. By the time I turned back around to tell Jessie thank you, he was already gone. He was laying down in his spot.
I placed the bottle back down. I stared at Matthew a little bit more trying my hardest not to cry, but it was to hard. I moved his arm in a way I could lay my head on it. I put my hand on his chest feeling his lifeless heart. He was even colder now. I sobbed into his side. I started to drift asleep. Slowly the night consumed me.
