"Cole" Jason said while shaking him. "Cole, get up. Its 9:30. We have to make sure we have everything ready." Cole looked up with his eyes barley open. Everything was a bit blury to him. "O..Okay. Is there any breakfest left?" Cole asked. "Yeah. Go eat some, i'll get Cody to help with the supplies. I've already eaten so don't worry about me." Jason said calmly. Cole sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked around to see Me and a few other people still asleep. He streached and walked off into the lunch room to smell the toast and the coffee that was made. Once he got his plate he sat down next to the rest of the group. "Are you sure you want to go through with this? It seems a bit risky." Savannah said. "We already have everything planned out theres no backing out now. Even if i wanted to." Cole said.
Cole went back to eating after that. Even when the others were done they waited for him to get done eating walk him out and tell him bye. "Hey, since Emalea is asleep could you give her this note?" He said while he started to write down the note on a napkin. "Yeah, or on your way out just lay it by her." Sophia said. He nodded his head and went back to writing.
Once he walked into the gym with the others he seen Jason and Cody stanfing together talking. He walked over there and seen the two backpacks sitting by the doors. They looked new. "And look whos finally back. We have our backpacks over there thanks to Cody." He said while pointing at Cody. "Haha, theres no need to thank me. Anyways, You guys be safe and either come back before night fall or find a place to camp out, just be safe for everybodys sake." They bothed nodded and headed towards the door.
Jason turned around. "Well be back guys. We promise." he said in a steady voice and they both walked through the double doors outside. "We should've woke Emalea up for this. She could've talked them out of this." Savannah said softly. Cody turned and looked at her. "What? Do you not think this is a good idea?" he asked. "To be honest with you i don't blame here, i don't like this idea either." Sophia said. "They'll be fine you guys, you're worrying about nothing." Scarlett had said. "Yeah, i hope you're right." Savannah spoke softly.
The cold air was the first thing they noticed when they stepped outside. They both zipped up their jackets and went on. They started up the road with knifes in one hand incase something bad was going to happen soon. "Do.." Cole paused. "Do you hear that?" he had said. It was like a lawn mower trying to start. Jason squinted his eyes a bit. "Yeah, I think I do." he replied. The noise was getting closer until they seen a car in the distance. "Oh shit" Jason whispered. "Get into the woods!" Cole pointed towards an area of trees. They both ran and hid.
The car went by the woods but was going slow. Cole was holding his breathe at this moment. Did they see them or were they searching for something or somebody? Cole thought this to himself. The sound got farther and farther away until the couldn't hear it anymore. "I barley seen his face, it was bearded." Said Jason. Cole looked at Jason and let a big breath out. "We should hurry before it gets dark. I want to get back before night fall comes." Cole said.
Jason nodded his head and they went back to walking. Not much was said afterwards, they got frightened by th smallest things now. "Stop. Look over there to your left." Cole had pointed towards the object. Jason turned and seen the car that had passed them awhile back but this time, nobody was in it. "Should we go to it?" Jason asked. Cole shrugged his shoulders. "Do you think anybody is close by I mean who would just leave their car sitting around?" He asked. "You're right, do yo-" he got cut off by another scream. This time it had came from the car or at least close by it. "Fuck dude. What do we do? What if somebody is in trouble?! We have to help them!" Cole had said.
He started to run towards the car but Jason pulled him back. "What the hell do you think you're doing? What if there is more than one person there?" Jason said. Cole looked at Jason and looked back at the car. He bent down and took the backpack off and looked inside, there was a gun with 3 magazines in the backpack. He took it out and loaded it. Cole looked at Jason. "Then we'll kill the sons of bitches."
