We headed back to the school. We were all silent the way back. Not many creatures were around us. Maybe they were hiding. Could they even hide? Sophia was in front of us. She looked like she was going to die of the coldness. Cole took his jacket off silenty and placed it on Sophias back. She looked back and smiled at them. Her mouth moved in the form of "Thank you." but I heard nothing.

There was a scream in the distance. Was that Savannah or Scarlett? I thought to myself. At this point we ran back to the school as fast as we could. My body unteansed when we saw Scarlett and Savannah at the front of the school. "Oh thank God you guys are okay! I thought that scream was one of you guys!" Savannah said with a concerned voice. "Yeah, we thought the same about you guys.
We ran as fast as we could to see if you guys were safe." Cole added. We went inside. Everybody was staring at us like we had just killed someone in front of them. Did we look odd? "Ah! You guys are back safe and sound." Cody said. He looked at his watch. Almost 6:50 pm. "Good. Just in time for dinner to. It should almost be done now." he said with a calm voice.

We walked to a classroom were desk were side by side to make a larger table like thing. We poured all of our supplies we found on to the desks. "Sorry it isn't much. We all tried our best and grabbed everything we thought would've been useful for anybody." Scarlett said to Cody. "No, it's fine. We will take anything you give us. Thanks for taking your time to do this for us. We really appreciate it." Cody replied to Scarlett.
She smiled a smile that I had never seen from her before. It was beautiful. "Dinner is done!" said a female from the hall. "You guys hungry?" Cody asked. We all shook our heads and walked together to the lunch room.

We all sat down in the seat next to the window like we always did from day one. It was a lot colder there than normal. Sophia was shivering again. "Do you need my jacket again Sophia?" Cole asked calmly. "N-No.. I'll be f-fine." she replied in a uneasy voice.

Cole looked at her for a moment and slowly took off his jacket and handed it to Sophia. She refused but Cole forced it upon her to take it. "You're stubborn aren't you?" She said with a slight grin. He laughed and went back to eating.
We were silent and could only hear what Cody was saying in the seat behind us. It was nothing to serious. Cole had mumbled something. "Huh?" Sophia said with a mouth full of food. He looked up from his plate. "I said, maybe we should go a little farther up the road and see if they have a camp or something."

We stared at him in silence. Cody turned around fast. "No, thats a bad idea I'm not risking peoples lives for an idea that could turn out terrible." he said without a hesitation. "I don't know Cody. That plan might actually work. Maybe me and him could go up there and search. What if this plan turns out fine?" Jason said. Cody thought for a moment in silence. "Fine, but when you come back, if you do, do not lead anybody back to us. If anything bad happens you run, fast, and do not stop until you're safe." Cody replied in a voice that was deep and concerned. "Great! Shall we start tomorrow?" Cole said to Jason. "Yeah, around 10 if thats fine." Jason replied. "Thats fine with me. "Cody? Can we take some supplies with us?" Colevasked. Without turning around Cody shook his head yes. We went to bed without any noise. Not even a creature was making a noise that night. It was odd.
