Alya, Amalie, Roxanne and Daria dragged each other through the winding cobbled streets of Hogsmeade, laughing and chatting in the cold November air.The girls looked through Scrivenshaft's Quill shop where they restocked on their quill and ink pots before moving onto Honeydukes. Alya always bought her mum excessive amounts of sweets, all of which her mother was amazed by. From chocolate frogs to Every Flavour botts to Fizzing Wizzbees and Sugar quills. It was all so fascinating to her Muggle mother and every time she visited would make sure to buy something different each time to send her. She felt guilty leaving her mother in the flat alone all year and felt as if she had to try and share her world with her, the beauty of it all.
Carrying her bag, full of sweets with her they entered Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. The girls scattered around the shop as Alya wandered over to the love potions that bubbled under pink shimmers.
Her face tensed as she felt a lock of hair tickle her neck and a familiar smell infiltrate her senses.
"Potter, get the fuck away from me" she warned turning around to find James there smiling down at her
Of course James Sirius Potter would be there.
"Love Potions Huh?" He smirked glancing over her features, " you could of just said that you want me. You don't have to go to those lengths"
"Like id ever want you" Alya scoffed trying to walk away only for James to follow her
"Don't deny it love" He winked walking in front of her, blocking her path out of the shop, "you love me. I know you do"
"God, you're so jarring it's insane" she groaned, "leave. Me. Alone"
"I'll see you later" James smiled letting her past as he stepped out of the way, "perhaps in your dorm?"
"Dream on Potter" she called leaving the shop
"Oh I will" he raised and eyebrow, "oh! And Hill... you look good today"
James studied Alya closely. Her cheeks were tinted with pink and her lips slightly chapped from the chilly air. Her hair peeked out in soft ringlets from underneath her bobble hat and her nails were painted with a pale blue, complimenting her Ravenclaw scarf that was wrapped neatly around her neck. Her eyes shimmered in the late autumn sunlight that streamed through the rooves of the buildings surrounding them. He couldn't find one flaw in the girl. She was so perfect. So perfect it hurt.
That however, was not true. Alya Hazel Hill was not perfect by any means. But in James' eyes, she was a work of art painted to magnificence.Alya just raised a hand flipping him off, making him chuckle quietly, before turning the corner to meet the other girls.
"What took you so long?" Daria asked as Alya caught up to them.
"I got stopped" she replied pulling her mittens on.
"By who?" Amalie queried
"Take a wild guess" Alya muttered as she started to walk away with Roxanne
"Potter" Roxanne smirked nudging Alya's arm
"What a good guess! How did you know?!" Alya exclaimed sarcastically as the four entered the three broomsticks.

A/NI like writing this book because it doesn't have as much readers as the others and I think it has a nice vibe to it. Like I feel less pressure yk.
I'm so excited for Alya and James in later chapters bcs I wanna make it like a soft relationship like Rosa and Rems. Because with Harry and Viola that didn't work with their vibe and I've missed that style sm since I've not written it in ages.
