A gently flurry of snow had started to fall from the sky, covering the grounds as Alya, Amalie, Roxanne and Daria made their way towards the carriages that were going down to Hogsmeade."Dar, you really should just ask him" Amalie sighed to her friend who watched Frank walking down to the carriages a bit ahead of them with James, Nico and their other friends from Gryffindor.
"What if he says no though?" Daria replied, "it'd be so embarrassing!"
"You'll never know if he likes you back unless you take a leap of faith" Roxanne shrugged
Alya nodded along in agreement, pulling her robes tighter around herself as the snow started to fall heavier.
"I don't know, I'll think about it" Daria spoke hopping onto a carriage as the rest of the girls piled in.
Alya watched the rickety roofs of the houses rise from the distance, snow capped and old and she realised that there wasn't many Hogsmeade trips left this year, and after this year they'd all of left.
Deciding that she could always come back to visit the charming little village she swore to savour her time with her friends.
The four of them trudged through the cobbled roads leaving footprints in the snow. They all shivered as a gust of wind rushed past them.
"To Honeydukes!" Daria exclaimed linking arms with Ayla and dragging her towards the shop as the other girls trailed behind
"Then can we go to Zonkos?!" Roxanne called from behind them all
"Yeah sure!" Daria hollered back already half way through the doorway to the sweetshop.
The girls had taken their time browsing the shelves of sweets and had paid for their respected items before pulling their hoods up and putting on their Hats, scarves and gloves before braving the cold weather.
As they pushed open the door to Zonkos the shop was packed with Hogwarts students, majority of them in younger years. Shuffling past the other customers the girls split up browsing the different rows.
Alya scanned the shelves, picking up things and quickly putting them back down as they either started whirring, sparking or snapping.
She would always remember the first time she visited the shop. She was so in awe with everything there. It was all so different to Muggle shops.Though she loved all the intricate and unexplainable products she had never bought anything, she just never knew what do with them and so usually just looked at them in admiration.
Putting a bar of frog spawn soap down she felt a pair of hands settle themself on her waist.
She rolled her eyes in good nature, being able to tell the person of which the hands belonged to.
"Fancy seeing you here" James chuckled resting his head on Alya's shoulder as he pushing her hair to the other side so it stopped tickling his face.
