My family is gone now, forever.
But to be honest, I never had a real family.
I was always by myself.

"Oh my god." Hyunjin and I enter the kitchen. And my short hair is the first thing you notice.
Felix immediately stand up and touches my hair. "You cut it. Oh my god. It looks so pretty", he says. "It's really really short", Jisung says.
"It's even shorter than Hyunjin's." "I liked it better when it was long", Jeongin says. He still is observing me.
"No, i think the short hair is way better", Chan nods at me. "I also like it better short", Hyunjin lays his arm around me.
"You always will be pretty, Soomin", Jisung says. I send him a little finger heart and wink at him. He sends me a finger heart back and also winks. "Ew, you guys are so cringe", Seungmin says.
"Don't talk to my bestie like that", Jisung sounds offended. "Hey, hey, when was that decided?", Minho asks. "Yeah, who decided that?", Hyunjin also asks.
We laugh. "I thought I was you best friend", Felix pouts. "If someone's the best friend here, it's me", Hyunjin pulls me closer to him.
"You're not seriously gonna fight about that?."
"No, we're not, because we all know it's me, right?", Hyunjin looks at me with big eyes. I have to laugh again.

"Minnie? Are you awake?", I hear a voice.
"Now I am", I respond. Why did he had to wake me up? I couldn't even finish my dream. I had a good dream for once and he had to interrupt me.
My eyes are still closed, but I blink a few times to wake up.
And I can slowly see my surrounding. And Hyunjin's face is so close to me. He's smiling widely.
I flinch a little bit when I see him like this. It's slightly creepy.
"What are you doing?", I ask confused. "Happy birthdayyyy!", he hugs me.
Oh my god. I completely forgot that it's my birthday today. I'm finally eighteen. I smile back at him.
"Thank you", I shortly answer and I push him away and get out of the bed. I go into the kitchen and Hyunjin runs after me. All the other boys were already there.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Soomin, happy birthday to youuuuu", they all sing. After that, they clap. I'm smiling like an idiot. I don't really know what to do, but I am happy.
Chan points at the cake with the candles. I sit down in my usual seat and blow out all the candles at one. They clap again.
"Felix baked the cake this morning. Let's try it." The cake was so delicious. But that's what I expected from Felix, it only can be good.
"Okay, Minnie, we planned something for today. So, you once told us that you loved swimming as a child, but you werent able to go for a long time. So we rented this cool ass indoor pool in a hotel for a day", Chan says after we finished eating.
I smile again. They actually remembered that? I really loved swimming. One of the only things I enjoyed. Most of the kids hate swimming. "Wait, I don't have a swimsuit."
"That's not a problem. You can go to the mall with Jieun now. She's the one who will drive us anyways." "I should get ready then." "Yes, do that."

"Girl, you have the most perfect body ever." We're in the mall and I'm showing Jieun the bikini I just tried on.

It's a pretty simple black bikini but I love it. It's not like I would go swim every day so I won't got to wear it a lot anyways.
"You need to drop your workout routine and your diet. Like how do you do that?"
"My workout routine is pretty much none existent, I go to the gym sometimes with the others but I mostly just watch and only do something when I'm really really bored and my diet is eating at the weirdest times or just eating nothing and a lot of energy drinks. I think that's pretty healthy."
"Oh god, your genes must be so good." "Do you like the bikini?", I ask to change the topic again.
"To be honest, you look great in everything. I would like something a little bit more fancy but you don't like that that much, don't you."
"Absolutely right. You already know me." "Let's go then. How much is it?" I look at the price tags.
"Soon, you won't have to be sugar daddied by stray kids anymore. Tomorrow is your first day of work." I nod. "I'm already excited." "It will be hard." "But at least not boring."

We all got changed and entered the big indoor pool. It's like one of these fancy pools with fountains and water plays and stuff, it looks really fun. "Oh my god, it looks so cool here."
"I've never been here." There is so much here, and we are all by ourselves. "Oh my god, Soomin, you look so good." While everyone is looking around, Hyunjin is looking at me.
"How the fuck are you so skinny? You literally feed on energy drinks", Minho notices. "It's called being born pretty", I pose. "And all the fat goes to my boobs."
"Yeah noticed that too", Jisung laughs. This boy is such an idiot. I hit him.
"You pervert", Hyunjin says and protectively lays his arms around me. "Okay guys, the last one in the water has to do the dishes for the next month", Jeongin shouts and starts running towards the water.
We all run after him. I never thought I'd enjoy this shit this much. I never thought I would even like these people ever in my life. But here I am, having the fun of my life.
And I always want it to be that way. Before, I always looked at the big picture. I always thought about my future and what for consequences every move I made will have on the future. But now, I just enjoy the moment, without even thinking about the future.
