Probably everyone already forgot this story because I took some time, but I still wanted to explain some things, this is a little bit random

1. Soomin is still attached to her family

Soomin does the notice it, but she always still thinks about her family. Nearly everything she guides back to them. Even tho it is hate, she still has feelings linked to them, she can't really let go of these feelings, she is attached to it.
Most of the time, this is her motivation. Her hate. You can notice that she stops caring about her family when she gets a new family. She has this feeling what a real family is like. Earlier, she found comfort in this hate and later she found it in love.

2. Her hate drives her

She wants to do everything that her family wouldn't do. She is even willing to drink or smoke, the only motivation for that is this rebellion. Even tho her family isn't there anymore, she still has this need to show this rebellion. And she finds out some passions and preferences through that, but most for most of the times, she can't even see clear, she don't notice that it's not what she likes. And on a long term, this isn't the right way of course.

3. Her love for children movies

Even tho she finds a lot of things cringey and dumb, children movies weren't one of these things. She loves to watch them, because she wanted to feel like a child. Like a real child, she wanted to experience that childhood she never had. It's not the same to watch children movies when you are older, it hasn't that magic anymore, but for Soomin, is has. She just shuts down everything else, er usual way of thinking and becomes this child.

4. Hyunjin's behavior over all

He's not perfect. He has some problems. He has some toxic traits you may not immediately notice, like the jealousy. He always tries to hide it when he's not okay to not make his surrounding feel bad for him, but sometimes he even can't do that. He obviously had trust issues because of something that happened in his past, that's also why he was so mad when he found out Soomin was lying.

5. The relationship between Hyunjin and Soomin

Soomin's and Hyunjin's relationship is really toxic, even tho it doesn't seem like that at first.
Hyunjin dependents on Soomin, he couldn't live without her, he needed her. She always felt a big responsibility because everyone kept telling her that, and that put a lot of pressure on her. She wanted the best for him, so she kept thinking all of his behavior was her fault. The little fights they have also showed that they had this struggle over dominance. They both wanted to show that they have the control, but in reality, neither of them has it.

6. The relationship between Felix and Soomin

Also a really important relationship with no good ending. He was the first person who trusted her, the first person who believed in her. And for that reason, it was also really hard for him when he found out she lied because he felt like it was his fault, he let her in their life.

7. The ending

Soomin truly loved Hyunjin, but she knew herself that something was wrong with their relationship. She wanted to get him out of her life, but since they always find together, she knew she had to do something else, even tho killing him wasn't really the right thing to do.
You could say she has some psychotic Problems. She doesn't really feel anything in the end. It's like it's all gone.
