I happen to come up with this novel idea upon watching a Netflix trailer for the filmThe Half Of It. Using the inspiration I got from watching that few minutes movie clip and combining it with my own experiences as an adolescent growing up during my high school days that I came up with Sulat Kamay. I haven't attempted to watch the entire Netflix show because it might affect the flow of the story that I'm creating, the very basic premise of the Hollywood movie and my story may be similar but at the very core this story is solely original and my very own.

I always try to picture in my mind the images of the characters portraying my novel in progress whenever I'm writing the scenes. It greatly helps me in creating the flow of the story as well as coming up with dialogues that would match the image of each characters. As of the moment, I do picture Zaijan Jaranilla as the image of Felix de Jesus, Grae Fernandez as Yuan Chen, Kira Ballinger as Chloe, Barbie Imperial as Jill, Ronnie Alonte as Reginald, Mark McMahon as Francis and Kiray Celis as Carol. It's kinda fun that you're playing around with the characters' quirks and actions based on the appearances of real celebrities as if they're giving life to your own fictional creations.

This ongoing novel was originally uploaded on Dreame via Stary Writing. However, since the novel wasn't commissioned or bind to any sort of exclusivity contract yet, I might as well upload chapters of the novel on Wattpad in the hopes of wider readership. Please do note that advance chapters and episodes are currently being uploaded on the Dreame app so if you need to read chapters not yet loaded here on Wattpad, you may check the rest of the chapter on the Dreame link here:  https://www.dreame.com/novel/y2ttdxWdZz8z1q08WHjrfg%3D%3D-Sulat-Kamay.html

Before proceeding to the story, please be advised that this is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents mentioned in this story are solely a product of my overexhausted imagination or used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events, locales or person, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

UPDATE: While reading this novel, keep Crazy For You by Scars on 45 as background music. It sums up the whole feel of the story, especially for the main protagonist, Felix de Guzman.
