Dream wanted to know more about this boy in person, not just from his brother's perspective. So he went to where all the dreams or nightmares were most common. The dreamscape where people, all around have their dreams at including the Au's that were created over the years. It's odd enough that he's never seen Chris's dreams here. The daydreams just had white on the ring around it because obviously, they're in the day. While the actual dreams were more colorful and lit themselves up to different colors. The more 'unsafe' dreams or his brother's part of the dreamscape were darker and mostly where the negative or the scary dreams happen. Those were mainly black bubbles or darker colors that faded into black. He's seen all of the colors that they could be...except for grey. None were grey, or that's what he thought. He didn't know that in Nightmare's part of the place that there were nightmares caused by memories or what could've happened to whoever was thinking about them unconsciously. He took in a deep breath before entering the other side of the realm. He wanted to help the people that were the furthest down but knew Nightmare wouldn't be pleased. All he could do was look at each of them with guilt in his eyes. When he was all the way down there lies a door at the end of it. He was curious about what could be there so it was the day for him to find out. He got up the courage to open the door gently and saw the few that were there. All of the orbs were different shades of grey. There were only around twelve that were visible. Dream knew that Delilah's dreams weren't there because she's distracting Ink and Blue at the moment. Delilah didn't even know what Dream was up to. He looked around curious about who they belonged to. He couldn't tell who most of them were since he didn't know many of these people that were here. These people were in the flipped memory spectrum (I made this up) as Nightmare called it. He saw it as the 'nightmares' that these people have or did have to revolve around a memory but instead, their mind control's what should've happened to that person. So like near-death experiences or past trauma were most common there. There was a note there that stated,

'Don't change the ones that look like memories, a high chance of getting stuck there with the person. The ones that don't look like memories are inside thoughts, depending on the person be careful.~C.C'

The note was written by Chris he went there with Nightmare one time to look at the different dreams that the place had to offer. Dream put it back then went to the dream in the far back. It was Chris's dream. The second face he could recognize in that room was no one else though. It was Classic Frisk's that he saw and Chris's. He was confused about why they were even there, to begin with. He sighed as he went to Chris's and looked at it carefully. It was him looking younger wandering around the place. Dream being curious decided to follow him but not confront him yet. He used his magic to make a portal there. He was teleported behind what looked like metal crates. He bent down so his skull wouldn't be visible. Then he heard someone began to speak.

"E-Elizabeth? This isn't f-funny...P-please, this place is s-scary."

When he left to a different section of the place, Dream ran to the other side making it in time.

"S-sis, come on-"

The boy gasped and covered his mouth with his hand trying to hold back a heartwrenching scream. He saw his sister, get killed by the baby robot. The one his dad made for her but he never lets her go by it, she must've snuck off to see her. There she was now a mutilated pile of blood as Baby was covered in it as well. Tears went down his eyes as he started to walk shakily backward.

"N-no...this c-can't be r-real. P-please, tell m-me this is a j-joke..." He whimpered softly to himself.

He ran off in tears not even wanting to see any more of his father and his 'creations'. Dream felt like the dream was about to be over so he quickly ended it before he could wake up. It was a dangerous move on his part but it worked out for him in his favor. The dream turned into a blank void and saw the boy once more. He was taking deep breaths trying to ease himself. His eyes were a silver color. He was shaking not wanting to relive those moments. He saw Dream behind him then turned around to see his shocked face.

"Hey...are you ok?" Dream asked softly.

Chris looked in the other direction before answering his question.

"Huh? Y-yeah...I'm f-fine."

"...Do you wanna talk about it? It might help."

"It's nothing, just a d-dead memory I should've forgotten about."

"Doesn't seem like it if you dream about it."

"W-what?"

"Nevermind, can I ask you something?"

He nodded in response wanting to know what the question was for some reason.

"Does Nightmare create your dreams by any chance?"

"No! He'd never do that to me! Besides, he doesn't even know any of that..."

"That actually happened to you!?!" Dream said in surprise.

Chris nodded sadly knowing that all of that was true at least for him.

"Sadly all of that did happen to me, it's alright though. I wouldn't say she's in the best position but she too has been through a lot."

"I'm terribly sorry for your loss."

"It's f-fine Dream. That happened years ago."

"If you say so."

There was an awkward silence between the two before Chris spoke.

"Why are you here anyway?"

"Curiosity I guess."

Chris's eyes phased back to normal since his dream has now come to an end.

"Are you done for today then?"

"Oh yeah! I forgot to give you this!"

Dream proceeded to hand him a charm it was half of a heart.

"What's this for?"

"Well, a person I know wanted to give you this half and hopes that they can meet you someday!"

"Oh, thanks Dream. I guess I'll see you later then."

Dream nodded with a faint smile on his face knowing at least he brought some sort of joy into him. They bid goodbye to each other as Chris's vision swam back into reality where he belonged.
