Because i'd get to watch you watch other people because you're so calm. Coffee calms you doesn't it?

When I sit across you at this small table, I cant help but to stare at you.

Jeon Wonwoo. With your bold red hair. Your cute round framed glasses sitting on the bridge of your nose. Glass fogged a little from your previous sip of coffee. Jeon Wonwoo, with the smile on his lips when a small kid walks around the tables. Who can't help but be drawn to couples holding hands and laughing because they're in love.

I know you want love Wonwoo.

I can give you that. I've said it countless times. My actions. Even our friends know. But why don't you? Why don't you know that I love you so much? Why cant you accept it?

That's when I feel our feet touching. You make no efforts to move your foot away from mine.

You sip your coffee.

"Mingyu, you're staring."

You've got a beret on today.

"You're very cute." And you only smile.

"I love you, Wonwoo." You side glance me while you're mid-sip. You don't even choke. When you put your cup down, you smile sadly. Why are you sad? And you lean forward and say "I know."

Why must you hurt me like this?

Sometimes I forget that you're hiding your feelings. I know you love me too. You've said it before, with your words, with your actions.

But after all that happened, you shunned them. You locked them up deep in your heart and are refusing to let them be free.

"Let your heart be free, Wonwoo."

You smile sadly again (please stop that), "I can't, Mingyu."

Only when we're out here in a coffee house, that's when you give me your nice replies. Only then you tell me nice words and less harsh responses. Only in the coffee house you say "I know", "You know why" or "Mingyu, you're staring". In our home, where we're supposed to be more free. Only there you say,

"Okay."
"How many times have I told you?"
or
"Mingyu stop fucking staring at me."

So it's nice to be out here. In warm clothes where I get to see you dressed cutely. Where I can smile at you without being berated for showing emotion. Where I get to adore you from far even when I'm right in front of you. Because when we're on a coffee date, you're elsewhere staring at other couples while I'm staring at you.

Hoping that one time, I'll tell you "I love you" and you'll respond with "I love you too." All under the influence of the coffee house's magic.

Because Jeon Wonwoo becomes nicer to me and doesn't let me down as hard.
