"excuse me, the cinema is closing in ten. please leave the theatre."

"b-but...! she died! that's not fair!"

wonwoo sighed, brush and vacuum in hand to clear up all the spilled crumbs and snacks in the last theatre room. here was this guy, similar in age to him by his looks, sitting right in the middle and not moving. the screen has long turned black and the general lights have all been turned on. he was just sitting there, voice all wobbly and wavering while he emptied his popcorn into his mouth and lap.

wonwoo cringed at how much clean up he was going to have to do when this guy finally leaves, "sir-"

"i need a minute,"

wonwoo sighed, "it's been fifteen minutes since the movie ended. please leave."

the stranger looked at him with teary eyes, "you're heartless."

wonwoo just stares back with no feeling in his tired eyes, "no, i'm 25 and my job is to get you out of here so i can get paid."

the stranger seemed to perk up, "me too! or- i mean, i'm 25 too! how interesting!"

wonwoo sarcastically smiled back and laughed, then snapped back into monotony, "okay, now get out." not forgetting a polite, "please." at the end.

the stranger pouted and stood up, making wonwoo cringe again at the kernels that skittered on the floor. the man walked toward his side to exit but not before asking his name and peeking at his name tag.

"i'm... wonwoo? why you ask? you're not going to report me right? i'm just doing my job here." now wonwoo was genuinely terrified of this. getting reported to management was never fun. it already had happened once, so his life was at stake if it happened again.

sensing fear, the stranger laughed merrily, which wonwoo wanted to smack him for. "no! i was just going to find you on instagram," he said with a giggle.

wonwoo felt himself heat up as he started on the top row of seats, "you could've just asked..." he mumbled.
