jihoon sighs. "why are you sulking, kwon soonyoung?"

soonyoung frowns. "your song. i don't like it."

jihoon raises an eyebrow and locks eyes with soonyoung, "really." he clicks off his phone. "do tell me why."

soonyoung walks over to jihoon sitting on his studio's couch. he towers over him. "because. who are you talking about? she/her? who?"

jihoon wants to laugh, "you're upset about the pronouns in my solo debut?" he chuckles, "oh, baby, there are other things to worry about in the world."

soonyoung doesn't even flinch at the nickname, frown and pout stuck on his face, "i didn't like it, jihoonie."

jihoon opens his arms and soonyoung sinks into his hold, grasping his shirt like it's his lifeline. jihoon holds him so close. it's almost comforting. "not even one bit?"

soonyoung stews in silence, thinking over the whole song. the intro caught him off guard and jihoon's vocals were used so differently, it gave him shivers on first listen. maybe he does like it. "just the part. you know..." he trails off.

jihoon taps his cheek to signal him to look up, "which part?"

"one minute thirty three on the music app..."

jihoon scrubs to just a little bit before that time stamp and-

"shit, this is red too."

ah... he chuckles, patting soonyoung's head, "you liked that, huh?"

"maybe... i-i'm still upset about the... thing, you know."

"okay, how should i make it up to you then, my prince?"

jihoon notices soonyoung blush and a million thoughts rush through his head at the same time it does through soonyoung's. their eyes meet and jihoon bursts into laughter, "really?" soonyoung nods.

"fine. be nice about it."
