[ c - verkwan ] drowsy and drunk

inspired by verkwan clinging on to each other in the background of SVT's morning mission of their first TTT.

"yes!" seungkwan quietly cheers after answering the question right.

after being rudely awakened by 'BOOMBOOM' blasting through someone's phone at 7am, the staff asked the groggy members questions as part of their morning mission for god knows what reason. "i thought TTT was for relaxing..." seungkwan mutters to hansol.

he too, answered a question correctly so they sit together off to the side, while watching their members answer.

seungkwan still feels sleepy so he leans on hansol a little.

he still feels warm from the blankets he was under through the night, his hair is so comically tousled and it sticks out in places. if seungkwan was more sober, he'd laugh and try to fix it. but it's 7 in the damn morning and it's no place to try and look glamorous.

absentmindedly, his hand wandered to hansol's and they rest on his thigh with intertwined fingers. seungkwan loves this feeling. they're not awake enough to make this awkward, and it's just a small little display of tired affection.

then he feels hansol's thumb softly move, caressing the back of his hand. seungkwan wants to jump.

"the remaining members have to make breakfast." announces the staff. seungkwan and hansol don't wait for the others. they rush to where hansol and joshua shared a space the previous night, hands still locked.

stealing joshua's spot, seungkwan huddles with hansol for warmth under the blanket. they both close their eyes but seungkwan doesn't think he can fall asleep again.

sharing this one little mattress with hansol is as close as they'll ever be. seungkwan's always affectionate, no matter the person. but he knows hansol likes to keep it on the down low; he's not a show off with his affection. so with his small display this morning, seungkwan knows something's up.

"nonie?" he softly placed a hand on hansol's arm.

"hm?"

it's only him that uses this nickname too.

"i love you,"

hansol's shut eyes don't move but he adjusts his position to lay flat on his back. he blindly reaches for seungkwan's hand and puts his on top, curling his fingers between seungkwan's. placing it on his chest, he murmurs back, still groggy:

"i love you too, boo."

BONUS!

joshua leaves the kitchen after voluntarily helping to cook breakfast and then eating it. he goes back to where he slept last night to grab something and his heart fills with warmth at the sight.

seungkwan and hansol are basically cuddling in their sleep, even without knowing it. he softly coos and giggles to himself.

they look so warm and so cute, joshua contemplates taking a picture to save and maybe tease them later down the line. but ditches the idea. he grabs his cup from the floor, leaves the area and doesn't speak about it to anyone after that.
