all seven members had a schedule to get new hairstyles for their newest album promotions and today was their leader's turn. siyeon had already decided her bangs long ago and a few days ago, bora and yubin got their hair dyed blonde. finally ending an exhausting fifth practice of the week, yoohyeon followed the others home.

they were all pretty expectant to what minji's new colour would be and placed bets on it. maybe ombré? or a cool toned shade, reminiscent of their first album's purple minji debut? who knows.

"she's home!" bora yelled excitedly, generating quiet buzz in their vehicle. finally reaching their dorm, yubin threw open the door and there as no minji to be found.

"unnie?" gahyeon called. springing out from the corridor, minji appeared with a warm blonde, "tadah!" she grinned.

yoohyeon had her mouth open in shock. minji-unnie? in blonde?... what a sight.

"she's just staring," siyeon laughed. "maybe thinking how she can one-up jiu-unnie." yubin smugly joked.

when it was yoohyeon's scheduled salon appointment, she asked for minji's exact style but- "i want black bangs. and make everything under here," she pointed. "black as well." she smiled at herself in the mirror.

so she came home blonde, with pitch black bangs and a huge grin on her face.

"yoohyeon-ah! what did you do!" minji screamed, running up to her and grabbing her arms as the other girls broke into uncontrollable laughter. yoohyeon's grin never left her face as she revealed that all except a top layer of her head was black.

until a week later, when minji sent a photo in the group chat with a new addition to her style: a hime cut.
