SORRY made the tag on the spot bc i didn't have one when i started writing cus it was basically the first sentence UH-

anyway i did this in like 5 min i'm so happy bc it was short and so quick oh my god this is the shortest thing i've ever written AND IM SO HAPPY BC ITS NOT THAT BAD EEE OKAY READ ON THANKS ILY

"y'know... sometimes it's okay to relax and slow down and just," soonyoung inhales. "breathe." he exhales. his eyes sparkle from the neon bouncing in his brown eyes and jihoon thinks he looks so perfect like that. soonyoung adjusts his position. "it's okay to- to relax, y'know? and pause everything you have going on over there," he gestures to jihoon's monitors, his midi...

his microphone, headphones, scripts, papers, lyrics, sticky notes, coke cans, plastic bags, pens, stationery-

jihoon feels a light pat on his shoulders. and he realises they're on the floor. in his studio.

just sitting on the floor.

it's not a normal place to be but that's where they're at. "you'll be okay, ji." soonyoung's calm voice attacks him yet again. jihoon wipes away the remnants of tears. "you call me when you feel like this again okay?" and nods. "and i will rush down here, and i will tell you all this over and over again. a million times if i have to." jihoon nods again.

just as soonyoung's about to leave, jihoon pulls him back down. "ji? what's up?" jihoon doesn't know how to phrase it, "just- just stay. here. stay here. for a while more," he can't make eye contact. "please." soonyoung has to smile and affectionately pats jihoon's mop of brown hair. it tickles his eyes and he has to close them momentarily.

soonyoung stays.

"i love you."

soonyoung chuckles against jihoon, who's clinging onto his arm and resting against his shoulder. he reaches over to squish one of jihoon's soft little cheeks.

"i love you too."

okay edited it a little bit but also,, REALLY want to make soonyoung call jihoon 'dumpling' at the end THAT WOULD BE SO CUTE 😭

um yea i love soonhoon, the dialogue prompt appeared in my head while keeping my clothes and it turned out to be soonhoon. bc i had to put pronouns and i immediately went he-he and now we have soonhoon :/

do y'all have a pairing to die for bc mine is soonhoon (if that wasn't obvious enough)
