[ c - soonwoohoon ] car rides

just teenage soonwoohoon <3 it's not super obvious but i tried :') was thinking about sleepy ji so... here

"is he gone?" wonwoo asks from the wheel, voice only a little louder than the 2am radio. soonyoung softly chuckles from the backseat, a sleeping jihoon curled up and resting on him.

"out cold," he replies, softly stroking the other's soft cheek. jihoon is laying his head on soonyoung's thigh, the rest of his body curled up and taking up the other two passenger seats. his sock covered feet are flexed against the car door. "maybe we should've taken his daily schedule into more consideration. he's always in bed by 10pm."

wonwoo hums, changing the turn signal. "i guess. but he had fun. he was laughing so much, i was sure he would burst." soonyoung giggles remembering the way jihoon's face broke out into his lovely little peals of laughter. they were truly melodious.

they're almost reaching wonwoo's house. his dad's on a business trip and his mum already made it clear she didn't mind them coming to stay, even if their main door was to open at 2am. thank god their school holidays had started. none of their parents would have let them go see a movie this late otherwise.

after gently waking jihoon as they go up to wonwoo's room, they take turns showering. by the time they end up in bed, it's almost 3am.

jihoon sleeps in the center, where he gets to be loved and adored on both ends. he faces soonyoung as his eyelids drop close, and a barely distinguishable "goodnight" slips from his lips.

wonwoo turns to put his arm around jihoon's waist, pulling himself closer to the sleepy boy. soonyoung lightly pinches jihoon's cheek and touches their foreheads together.

"sweet dreams, ji."
"goodnight, jihoonie."

a kiss to the forehead and one to the neck.

jihoon is out cold.

"why does he always have to face you?" wonwoo complains quietly. "he just loves me more i guess," comes soonyoung's jokey reply.
