Chapter 14 - Sakura's birthday gift

"Kashi-nii!!!" Naruto grinned as he held up a....weird looking....

Kakashi's face scrunched up slightly. What the hell is that?

"I made ramen for Sakura-nee!!!" Naruto grinned.

"That's....ramen?" Kakashi sweatdropped. "Why are you making ramen for Sakura, anyways? You're supposed to be in bed."

"I REFUSE!!!" Naruto pouted. "Aaand!!! It's Sakura-nee's birthday tomorrow!!!"

"It is-?" Kakashi asked.

"You didn't know?" Naruto tilted his head.

"Uh, no, I totally knew it's her birthday," Kakashi deadpanned.

"Well of course you wouldn't forget your student's birthday," Naruto nodded to himself.

"It was a-a joke," Kakashi sweatdropped.

"Yeah, you think I wouldn't know that you saying you don't know it's Sakura-nee's birthday is a joke?" Naruto pouted.

"Uh what.

Nevermind."

Sasuke sighed as he dropped down on his butt, wiping a bead of sweat away from his face.

A birthday gift for 'SaKUrA-NeE'S' birthday?

Never.

He had more important matters to worry about.

And it was suprisingly, not about killing Itachi.

'There must be something about it,' Sasuke thought to himself with narrowed eyes.

Could she be a secret Uchiha like Madara Uchiha's granddaughter in those Naruto fanfictions?

Shimiko stared at Sasuke from the other side of the broken fourth wall. "Bruh."

"Shh!!!" Sasuke growled. "I have important matters to think about!!!"

"Right, right," Shimiko sighed, turning back to the fourth wall.

Would a reader-chan be as kind as to lend Duckbutt some duct tape?

Nevermind.

'That must be it....but I'm still not sure,' Sasuke's eyes narrowed as he got into his 'brooding position'.

'There's only one way to find out.'

'The damage to myself may last for an eternity...but if she's truly the Uchiha princess, it's worth the risk,' Sasuke nodded to himself.

'I'm doing this.'

"Sakura-nee!!! Happy birthday!!!" Naruto grinned as he held out a gift to the pink haired girl.

"What's this, Naru-chan?" Sakura sweatdropped.

"RAAAAMEN!!!" Naruto puffed out his chest proudly. "I made it meself!!!"

'I think it's clay...' Sakura tilted her head to the side with a sigh.

Sasuke eyed her suspiciously.

"Sasu-nii!!! It's time for your gift!!!" Naruto grinned.

Sasuke would glare at Naruto for calling him 'Sasu-nii' but he's too concentrated on Sakura to notice that.

He slowly and very dramatically slid out something from his back.

"Can you be faster?" Sakura sweatdropped.

"No," Sasuke answered. "This is to make it dramatic."

"Okay..." the sweatdrop didn't leave Sakura's forehead.

After a minute, the gift was finally in front of Sakura.

With a deadpan, she snatched the gift up.

"Unwrap it, Sakura-nee!!!" Naruto grinned.

Sasuke gulped.

Sakura slowly tore open the gift.

Here it comes!!!

"Uchiha....dictionary?" Sakura muttered.

'Read it. Read it. No, don't read it...' Sasuke gritted his teeth.

Sakura flipped the dictionary open.

Her lips twitched up into a smile. "...Hn."

'Hn!?' Sasuke's eyes widened.

She sighed, smiling sweetly at Sasuke. 'Hn....(these are too easy for me...)'

'Hn!!! Hn...(No way!!! She really is...)' Sasuke thought in horror.

"I wonder how good you are at Uchiha language, Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked.

"H-Hn (bdhsleshebbsjx) ," Sasuke said.

Sakura laughed. "Hn...Hn. Hn. (How pathetic...you can't even speak out own language. You're a disgrace to our clan.)"

Disgrace.

Disgrace.

Disgrace.

Those words seemed to pull Sasuke into the darkness.

"That's right," Sakura laughed darkly as she looked down at Sasuke who was slowly sinking into a void. "I am Uchiha Sakura, Granddaughter of Madara Uchiha, and the princess of the Uchiha clan! To me, you are merely a peasant!!!"

Peasant! Peasant!! Peasant!!!

'Hn...!(No way...!)' Sasuke stared at her in horror. 'Hn...(she really is...)'

Sasuke's eyes slowly closed. 'Hn...(no...it's too late now.)'

"Sasukeee!!!" Sakura called as she knocked him on his head with her knuckles. "Are you thereee???"

"LE GASP!!!" He screamed. "The Uchiha princess!!!"

"What?" Sakura stared at him, confused. "What princess?"

"The book," Sasuke glared at her. "What did you do with the book!?"

"Uh...I'm gonna read it later at home," Sakura answered.

Sasuke sighed in relief, slowly wilting. "I'll...be going home now..."

"What...?"

"What happened to Sasu-nii?"

"I don't know."

Thank Indra Sakura didn't read the dictionary at home. She put it in a corner and forgot about it.

Meanwhile, In Sasuke's nightmare.

"Hn!!! (Bow to me you peasant!!!)" Sakura cackled as she crossed her arms.

"I'M SO SORRY SAKURA-HIME!!!" He screamed in tears.

"You better read the dictionary well and memorize everything~"

"Y-Yes, Sakura-hime!!!"
