Chappy 2 : That Mysterious Tiny Figure

that day where they get to know their teams

In the graduating class classroom, the students were waiting for Iruka's 'little' speech to start.

"Iruka-sensei," Choji suddenly raised up his hand. "Where's Naruto?"

"Uh...Naruto?" Iruka blinked nervously.

"Yeah, come to think of it. Naruto-baka hasn't been in class for a while now," Sakura tapped her chin. "He wasn't even here during the graduting test."

"Well...Naruto is not feeling well, so he's not with us recently" Iruka answered.

"But Iruka-sensei! It's been a whole month and he hasn't showed up at all! Is he not becoming a genin?" Choji asked.

"Does he have some kind of deadly disease?" Kiba asked.

"No way right?" some whispers went around the room. A tick mark grew on Iruka's forehead. He was about to shout "QUIET" when the door slammed open.

"WOW KASHI-NII!!! THOSE PEOPLE ARE SO BIG!!!"

"Sorry about that!!!" A gray haired masked nin ran into the classroom and scooped up a small figure. "He never knocks," he said apologetically.

"Ah...it's okay, Kakashi..." Iruka smiled.

Before anyone could see who the small figure was, Kakashi ran out of the classroom with him/her.

A scream of "I WANNA SEE THEM I WANNA TOUCH THEM" was heard outside in the hallways. The soon-to-be genins sweatdropped.

"Okay...I'll announce the teams now," Iruka said. Everyone sighed in relief when he said that. 'No speech...Phew.'

Unfortunately for them, Iruka started with- "Oh wait I need to start with a farewell speech..."

Sakura was confused. Everyone's team had three people, but hers had two. Her and Sasuke-kun. Not that she wasn't happy about it, but she expected the deadlast, Shikamaru to be on her team. Now that Naruto wasn't here, Shikamaru should be in their team, if it's like what Iruka-sensei said.

Sasuke was confused too. He was actually glad that Shikamaru might be in his team, because he wasn't much of an idiot like the others. Having only two people in a team meant that not much people can drag him down, but her!? That fangirl!? He would rather be on a team with Naruto.

They were trapped in their thoughts while waiting for their sensei to arrive - Kakashi Hatake. He seemed like a fine person when they saw him entering the classroom with an unknown figure, but WHY IS HE SO LATE!?

Just when that thought crossed their minds for about the hundredth time, the door slid open and the masked man came in. Sasuke glared at him while Sakura screamed "YOU'RE LATE!!!"

"Maa, maa. Don't be so mad. I had a little fox to take care of," Kakashi gave them a closed-eye smile.

"And who's that on your back?" Sakura asked as she noticed a sleeping figure on his back.

"Oh." he said. He turned to the side and whispered something to the figure. The figure slowly woke up and gave an adorable yawn. Sakura couldn't help but coo at the cute noise coming from the small figure.

Kakashi squarted down to let the small figure climb down his back.

The two genins stared at the figure's face with looked suspiciously familiar.

"Introduce yourself," Kakashi smiled at the small blonde.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, dattebayo!!!"
