Naruto may look like a 3-year-old, but he knew what's good for him. He knew the best he could do for his and Kurama's future. A future where they wouldn't have to part. It was hard, but he knew....
He had to assassinate Jiraiya.
How exactly, you ask? It was a great question. One that the great master Naruto could actually answer this time, as he cooked up more solutions and plans in his head.
PLAN 1!
"Kura-chan, listen to me, okay? We're going to do this. You will not be in my tummy again," Naruto whispered to the orange fox as they hid beneath the bedsheets in Naruto's room.
"Narutoo! Come out for dinner," came Kakashi's call from outside. Naruto almost flinched at the voice, but kept his composure- except that his stomach didn't. With a loud cry of rejection in the form of a growl, his stomach made him leap out of bed and speed towards the dining room.
"FOOOOOOD!!!!"
Abandoned under the bedsheets, Kurama huffed in annoyance and betrayal.
After a very enjoyable meal of, of course, ramen, Naruto once again submerged into the bedsheets to discuss his grand plan with his fox partner. "Kura-cham, I've got a great idea."
"Wow. Let's hear it," Kurama's sarcasm was practically dripping straight to the floor. Luckily or unluckily for him, sarcasm wasn't a part of Naruto's dictionary.
"Oh my god, Kura. You're the best. Of course you'd listen to me," Naruto beamed before going straight into his plan, unravelling a sheet of rolled up blueprint paper. "Do you see this?"
"...Is that a ramen cup?"
"YES, Kura-chan, you're a genius," Naruto sighed happily, melting into Kurama's warmth. The fox let out a huff, throwing Naruto straight to the other corner of the room. It only took two seconds for the child to appear before him again, however.
"So, Kura-chan. Here's the plan. We're going to steal all of his cup noodles so he'll starve to death, AND we'll have something to eat!" Naruto rubbed his hands against one another maliciously.
Kurama groaned with an eye roll. This plan sounded awfully familiar. Of coouuurse it would go well. Go so well. "Naruto, not everyone's diet is fully ramen like you. He might not even have any ramen in his house."
Naruto let out the loudest gasp he's ever let out. "NO RAMEN?? That's a crime. NOW we can have a proper reason to throw him in Ibiki's jail, and then, get rid of him!"
That was Plan 2!
Naruto seemed awfully smiley for a plan so stupid. But then again, it was Naruto. This was the smartest the boy could get. Kurama sighed, curling up into a ball as he closed his eyes to continue his nap.
"....or, we can hold all of his 'research' materials hostage."
There was a long silence before the next thing they knew, they were speeding out of Kakashi's house with Naruto on Kurama's back at the speed of light.
"Kit, this is the smartest you've been. You can cuddle me just this once."
"Yippee!"
Well, we know Plan 3 works the best, then.
