Chapter 26 - Hinata

"Hinataaa!!!"

"K-Kiba-kun!" Hinata stammered as she turned around. "W-What a c-coincidence to s-see you here!"

"Ah, what are you doin here?" Kiba asked.

"I-I'm just getting some g-groceries..." Hinata smiled shyly.

"You're going home right? I'll help you carry some!" Kiba offered.

"T-Thank you...K-Kiba-kun," Hinata blushed.

"That's your clan compound?"

Hinata nodded.

"Damn, it's so big," Kiba commented.

"D-Do you want to come inside and explore a-a little?" Hinata asked.

"Ehh, are you sure that's okay? With your father and all..." Kiba frowned.

"I-It'll be alright!" Hinata smiled.

She took a step into her clan compound and sighed.

She crossed her arms.

"KIMURAA!!!" she yelled.

Kiba flinched. 'I can never get used to her change of personality...'

"HAI, HINATA-SAMA!" A Hyuga clan member tripped over his foot as he ran over.

"Get the groceries to the kitchen," Hinata ordered as she threw the grocery bag in Kiba's hand towards the man who narrowly caught it.

"Well then, well then, Kiba-kun! Shall we head to the garden?" Hinata smiled.

"I can never understand how your personality changes..." Kiba sweatdropped.

"I'm just more comfortable around my clan," Hinata shrugged.

Neji flinched.

"Ehh....please wait here."

He ran out of the guest room towards Hinata. "Hinata-sama!! There's a-"

"I HAVE A GUEST HERE!" Hinata yelled, throwing her sandal onto Neji's head.

Neji stumbled backwards and fell over.

Hinata took off her other sandal before slipping on a pair of Geta (Japanese traditional footwear).

"I hate my life," Neji muttered as he stood up, only to have another sandal thrown at his head as he fell again.

"Clean my shoes you useless fuck!"

Neji sighed quietly.

"My life is pain. I hate everything. I hate sandals. I hate this world."

Kiba sweatdropped.

"Well, you've seen the garden. Do you wanna stay for din-"

Hinata jolted as she felt herself being lifted off the ground and twirled around.

"Hinata my cute little daughter, you have returned!" Hiashi cooed, pinching her cheeks.

"Yes, I got some groceries and bought Kiba-kun home," Hinata smiled, returning his hug.

"Oh, dear, is he your boyfriend? Am I about to have a grandchild soon?" Hiashi examined Kiba carefully. The Inuzuka stood there uncomfortably as the Hyuga clan head scanned him from head to toe.

"Oh, of course not, why would I date a loser like him?" Hinata smiled sweetly.

It was as if a boulder was dropped onto Kiba's head.

"If I were to date anyone, it'll be Naruto-kun," Hinata sighed dreamily. 

"Whatever you wish, my dear daughter," Hiashi brushed her hair with his fingers, a kind and loving smile on his face.

"I'll....leave now...." Kiba muttered in a depressed tone before slamming the door close, the two Hyugas totally ignoring him.

"Oh, hi," Hanabi waved. 

"Oh. Hanabi. Thank god. You're probably the only normal one here in this clan," Kiba sighed.

Hanabi raised her eyebrows.

"...Imma just, you know, leave," Kiba pointed at the exit.

Hanabi nodded slowly.
