Chapter 7 : Naruto Meets Team 10

"Lalalalala~" Naruto sang as he skipped through the hallways to the mission office. The glue had been forcefully torn off Kakashi, and it wasn't a pleasant experience for the copy ninja. Still, he was glad as he was able to walk again.

"Troublesome...so much missions..." Team 7 heard from not far away from them.

"Mm? Shikaku-oji?"Naruto tilted his head. He giggled and ran towards the direction of the voice.

"Kami, Naru-chan, STAY- Ugh," Kakashi groaned and ran after him. Sakura giggled and ran to catch up. Sasuke hn'ed and followed them.

Naruto stopped as he arrived in front of Team 10. (is it team 10?) "Eh?"

Ino, Choji and Shikamaru blinked at the tiny Naruto in surprise. 

"Um..." Asuma blinked. He wasn't sure how to explain this situation to his students. 

"Eh??? Asuma-oji??? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked.

"N-Naruto...is that you?" Ino stuttered.

"Hm?" Naruto stared at them. "You two look like Shikaku-oji and Inoichi-oji."

They were about to say something, but Naruto's next sentence made them freeze.

"Who are you?"

"Naruto!!!!" Sakura shouted and ran straight towards the blonde. She raised her eyebrows when she saw team 10. "Oh, Asuma-sensei. Choji, Shikamaru, Ino..."

"What...is going on." Ino asked, still in a state of shock.

"Are you Shikaku-oji's....what was it called...baby?" Naruto asked.

Shikamaru, Asuma and Ino sweatdropped.

"Naru..." Kakashi sighed. "Stop running off."

"What does that mean? Running? Off?" Naruto's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. 

"Asuma-san..." Kakashi looked up at Asuma as he scooped Naruto up. "I believe you can explain it to them, right?"

"...Right." Asuma nodded.

"Okay then, we'll be going," Kakashi tightened his grip around Naru, who let out a small yelp of pain as his soul floated out from his mouth. "That's your punishment for running off."

"Wait, wait!!!" Naruto shouted as Asuma started walking away. "Asuma-oji!!!" Asuma turned to him. "What's pussy?"

Sasuke paled. Kakashi and Sakura started emmiting a dark aura. Asuma sweated nervously. Ino, Choji and Shikamaru snickered quietly.

"Naruto..." Kakashi gave Naruto a deadly scowl. 

"What?" Naruto asked, not affected at all. Kakashi sighed. This is one of the reasons why Naruto was so hard to handle. Nothing, nothing. Scares him. Okay, maybe an angry Sakura's wrath is excluded.

"Don't ask about that again, okay?" Kakashi sighed again. "Let's go."

Team 10 was sitting in the BBQ restaurant, the genins all having the same questions.

"Asuma-sensei," Ino began. "What happened to Naruto? And how do you know him?"

Asuma sighed. "What I'm about to tell you involves an S-rank secret, so I'm putting up some silencing seals around our table."

"S-rank? Then why would you tell us?" Shikamaru asked. "Won't you get in trouble?"

"It doesn't really matter....Naruto will accidentally let it slip out of his mouth anyways. He's so forgetful."

"So, what happened?"

"Well...." Asuma slumped into his seat.
