Second night, after Lupe and Damon escorted Lipe to her room.

Lupe had a tea table on his room's veranda. On the table, he had milk and cookies. He sighed missing his past live's beer. Back in the past, in this time of night he's drinking inside their room while Lipe was sleeping.

[If only this body can handle liquor!]

"I heard two people talking in that language last night,"

He put down his cup of milk with force, almost forming a crack on it. Sian is a very difficult language to learn in his last life, even Lipe can't keep up. But this is not because it's hard to learn.
