The feeling was both eerie and mysterious. They felt their eyes were close, all they could see was dark. When they opened their eyelids it still had the same view. A dark vast void.
"Huh? Where-"
"Lupe! Where are you?"
Hearing his sister's call, all of his senses started working altogether. He tried to go where her voice came from.
"Lipe, I'm here!"
He felt lighter than before. He can move his body but somehow he feels like he's in one place. Flinging his arms and legs, he never felt something hard.
[Am I floating?]
"Lupe, I can't feel any ground."
"Me either. Any idea where we are?"
"Like hell, I know! I thought we got shot,"
"Is this perhaps the afterlife?"
"Afterlife? That means heaven right?"
"They're two different things,"
Little by little, small lights started to glow in the dark space. More and more of it glows until the place looks like a sky filled with stars. The twins admire the view, especially the girl.
"This is amazing,"
[[ You like it right? I'm glad you do. ]]
A larger light appears, blinding both of their sights. The twins closed their eyes and blocked the light with their hands. The light slowly got larger and a figure emerged from the middle. After that, the light subsided leaving the young man in white alone with the twins.
[[ Hello, I'm Pen. It's nice to meet you Lupe, Lipe. ]]
A man said without opening his mouth. He's talking to them mentally.
"Ah...y-yes..?"
"You know us?"
[[ Of course! It's weird for me to bring you here without knowing you guys. ]]
He floats around them while putting his hand on his chin. Pen nodded his head and smiled as if he was satisfied with checking the twin.
"You brought us here?"
[[ Well, yes. ]]
He said and just floated in front of them. This made the twins more confused.
[What is this weird guy saying?]
"W-what do you mean?"
[[ I can't properly explain but I killed you guys or more like I called your soul. That's why you're here in this particular space. ]]
After hearing that, the twins looked at each other. Not because they're worried about each other, rather they were calm.
